Hi Duke, Sorry about your
Posted on September 27, 2009, 11:36 pmHi Duke,
Sorry about your nipple piercing, and 6 months must seem like forever, I hope it goes by quickly for you. I also hope the surgery accomplished everything it was supposed to, and that your recovery is going well.
I agree with everyone else, I say get the PA now, since it takes a little while to heal and stretch, and you can wear whatever kind of jewelry you want.
Later, if you get into a relationship, you may have to experiment to find the best jewelry size and style for her comfort during sex. We can help advise you, but there's also some trial and error.
If you have your piercer use a taper to "instant stretch" you up 1 gauge, you will have less bleeding. Example: 10g needle, taper, 8g jewelry.
And yes, please do let us know.

Hey buddy...that surgeon
Posted on September 30, 2009, 12:09 amHey buddy...that surgeon should have put in the plastic venous cannula of 14G into your nipple piercing to retain the patency of the nipple piercing, then the barbell could be inserted back in without problem by treading it through the venous cannula...this is wot the body piercers in the United Kingdom use to pierce people...i noticed the US body piercers use the needle only without cannula.
I took my nipple ring out for a while and couldn't put the right nipple ring back even after two years having it in. But cool that i still have my left nipple ring.

Damn... i really wish they
Posted on September 30, 2009, 7:40 pmDamn... i really wish they had done that... if I had known before hand that they could do stuff like that, i would have requested it!
Thanks everyone for your messages... I'm doing great after my surgery (it was on my knee), I played soccer this past weekend for the first time since, and although I was a little slow (afraid of getting my knee bumped) everything went smoothly!
Since money is tight right now, I think I'll get a tattoo first (I know i'm just putting off getting a PA, but since I'm still a virgin its difficult for me to jump into such a sexual piercing without trying it at least once without it)... any thoughts?

Quote:I know i'm just
Posted on September 30, 2009, 8:22 pmWow you are a rare commodity. I think that's really cool though, that you're waiting, for whatever your reason is. Whoever you get together with later on will appreciate that, I'm sure.
I see your point about experiencing sex without it first, and I honestly don't know what to say to that. As we all mentioned already, there is a time when you're healing and you may not want to have sex, and depending on the gauge, sex can hurt if your PA is too thin. We call it the wire cheese cutter effect, as I'm sure makes sense if you've ever seen wire cut through cheese.
So, maybe you're right about experiencing sex first. I'm not sure what you're reasons are for waiting, or what you're waiting for, but for example, if you're waiting til marriage, then maybe after your 1st kid is born, and your wife can't have sex for a few weeks or something like that. If your goal isn't necessarily to marry, but just to find the right girl, and maybe no kids are planned, you can just get your PA at some point in your relationship with her, and you may have to go through a period of time where you "take care of her" with body parts of yours other than that one.
Its not a super long recovery anyway, and if you get it pierced at a 10g and have your piercer put in 8g jewelry, you can avoid dome of the stretching and some of the cheese cutter effect, you can even get pierce at 8g and tapered up to 6g.
I don't know if this helps you decide or just confuses you more, but I agree that you should think it through, and maybe you're right to wait.
I trust you'll let us know.
