Getting ready to move!

So I am packing my stuff and getting ready to move. Nothing like the present to start something new. Stressful? Yes,but totally worth it! I am very excited about it! The twelve boxes that I have already packed are DVD's and CD's. Haha! I am a bit of a freak when it comes to movies and music. People often call me a walking jukebox or their own personal movie theater. My first time moving out on my own. I know it sounds crazy since I am twenty-six,but I have been going to college. lol. I am glad I have friends like you guys to share my experiences with and take advice from. This world can be so harsch,but with friends like you guys I'm not too worried about it. Can anyone say, "Freedom!"? haha. You can call me boyish for being sentimental, but I think it only makes you stronger to be able to share your personal feelings and experiences. My motto for the longest time has been, "Imperfection is the perfection I've been looking for." I am one to know this to be true.

I think it's great that you've been able to stay at home and go to school! My 24 year old step-son is doing the same thing. I think it makes you appreciate your family more. Keeps you grounded, *laughing* no pun intended!

Congrats Dixon,
Are you the oldest in your family, the 1st to move out, last, etc? Both my kids are at home and right now in junior college, but even when they transfer, they both want to go to San Jose State and stay at home.

So what's your new life gonna be like? Living alone, having roommates? Apartment, condo?

Moving sucks indeed! But it is awesome to experience something new. I would love to move back out on my own but I'm just too poor! haha! I hope you enjoy it and you should have a kick ass house warming party! *and fly me out so i can come* uBiggrin

The last to move out jo! yay! lol. I am moving into an apartment with a buddy of mine. Excited for sure! Thanx didit and cheese! Moving does suck for sure! Barf! I am poor as well rx. Sucks! lol. would live to fly you out if I had the dinero!

I went on my own when my Mom died when i was 21...very scary at first but as you make new successes in your life you become prouder and prouder of yourself and realise that you actually can and will make it on your own terms as an adult...man, I envy you...to a degree!
