I decided to go over to the piercing studio even though my piercer is out of town. I figured if I felt comfortable I'd go ahead and get my labia pierced and if I didn't I could just leave. I was really anxious before I got there but as soon as I walked in I felt fine so I went for it! Wasn't painful ... just a couple of pinches and I was good to go. They bled a lot yesterday and are pretty swollen and sore today. I'm hoping that the swelling goes down quickly and then I'll post a couple pics.

Well congrats to you elle gee. Really like your cool,laid back approach to your new piercings...most people think long and hard about genital piercings. Would it be impertinent to ask if it was your inner or outer labia that you had pierced and if these are part of grander plans?

No grand plans. Honestly, my husband isn't really into body piercing and anything which (temporarily) limits his access to his favorite place to be is considered a bad thing!

I'm a little suprised to hear your husband isn't actively encouraging you to have lots more 'toys' in his favourite 'playground' I know I would!!! haha Eye-wink
