In July 2009 had both nipples pierced 12ga but small dia size horseshoe bars. I removed the left side in October as it kept
being irritated by the car seatbelt
In March I had my left nipple repierced with a 10 ga bar and the right upsized to 12ga horseshoe bar
Within a day the sweeling was unusually tight on one side of the Left bar piercing. Next day I woke to find the ball end had disappeared into the piercing hole. I tried to push it back out with no success.
Went to see my piercer, Linda. She had only ever seen that happen once before. After seeking advice from another piercer in the shop they recommend I take it out. As the ball was larger than the hole I had two options. Get a GP to surgically remove it or over time pull it through to the other side. I opted for the later.
It was half way out after just a couple of days but took 2 months to work all the way out. Anyone hear of this happening to someone they know. How long should I wait to retry a longer bar?
