So how many of you think, or are sure you've been profiled because of your tattoos and piercings. It never ceases to amaze me just how many people judge you just by your appearance. I'll share a story with you. I have had serious back pain for quite a few years. When it really affects me in my daily life I get a perscription for pain medications. Well when I moved to Pahrump, I had to find a new doctor. My doc in Vegas was totally cool with my body art and piercings. I was having a bad pain day so I went to a new doctor and told him about the pain, brought him my previous perscriptions and asked if he could help. He looked at me and said before I write a perscription you have to take a pee test. I looked at him and said you've got to be kidding and walked out. I am big on privacy. I didn't have anything to hide but I'll be damned if I'm going to pee for some doctor. The story has a good ending. I went to see an old country doc, the kind that makes house calls. Told him my story, he shrugged and said it's your body, I would rather see you pierced than smoking. He has been my doc ever since. The moral of this story, stand up for your rights and alwayS REMEMBER "You can't fix stupid"
