Its been 4 months now since I started my ladder. The top rung is just about healed. Rungs 2 thru 4 are still very tender at times and continue to crust and ooze.

I dont think they are rejecting but they are still almost like the day they were done. I can feel a skin tube callus if you will underneath the skin, but damn how long is it gonna take?

I would love to start trying to increase the gauge from 10 to 8 but there is no way with them still kinda gooey inside.

Any tips, tales, stories of your experience with these types of piercings would be appreciated. Like I said the top rung feels the most healed. Doesnt hurt to play or pull on it.

A friend suggested that maybe it gets more urine on it the way a PA does for Im told those heal rather quickly.
