Arf! The pup is back in action! After a long moving process to San Francisco, it's time I gave an update on my life as a pierced man.
So far, I've enjoyed 90% of my PA experience. It's amazing for me to have metal in my package and I smile every time I am conscious of it. As a gay male in the kink community, my piercing has been well received by others and lots of men are very curious to experience what it's like to 'play' with another guy that has a genital piercing.
In addition to the fun, I've ran into some issues as well. The skin on the head of my package tends to be prone to dryness and flaking for some reason. I don't know why this is occurring because I wash myself everyday and use the appropriate antibacterial soap given to me from my piercer. It's gotten better over two months, but it appears sometimes. Also, does anyone else wake up with crud on their rings? Any way to stop this from happening?
Another thing I've noticed is the fistula likes to change its appearance often. Sometimes it looks normal, and other times it looks very mildly puffy/inflamed. Any suggestions to what this may be? Jerking off and sex don't appear to really have any correlation to the occurrence of puffiness.
Speaking of sex: I've been topping (penetrating) more often recently and I've noticed mild irritation from the ring pushing into my package, which is uncomfortable. I've tried looking for silicone rings to use during sex but those don't seem to exist for PA's, so I might just have to use a curved barbell during sex.
The segmented ring shown is so comfortable! I like this style so much more than a CBR or circular barbell so much. Less irritation and enhanced stimulation!
Even though I'm mostly happy with a 10g after 1½ months, I want to start working on getting my 8g segmented ring in soon. Any advice and input on how to start stretching without causing the bottom opening to migrate closer towards the tip, but rather towards the base of my shaft?
Feel free to contact me or friend me if you want to know anything else about my journey with my PA so far. I'm open to answering any questions you may have! I have been inspired to photograph my piercing in nature while on hikes, walking, etc. Look out for some photos on my profile or Tumblr blog with my puppy hood on! WOOF!
