First Prince Albert piercing

I'm a 41 year old male in metro Detroit, I've wanted a PA for quite some time and finally had the nerve to go through with it (don't know why i waited so long). After reading many experiences and doing my research I decided it was time to take the plunge and called Adornment Deluxe in Berkley, MI, asked all the necessary questions & set up the appointment.

Once I got there Rich (the piercer) greeted me, explained everything in great detail, was extremely helpful and professional. Next thing I knew I was in the piercing room (very clean and sterile looking) dropping my pants and getting ready my PA. Rich prepped my equipment explained the procedure and asked me if I was ready to begin "yes". He inserted the receiving tube into my urethra (uncomfortable but not unbearable) had me take a deep breathe, exhale and I felt a sharp pinch (painful-but not anywhere near as painful as i had thought) and before i really knew what hit me He was all done and cleaning me up.

I'm now at day 3 after the piercing, I only bled for the first day and really had no problems at all thus far. I cant believe I waited so long, absolutely love it! I also can not say enough about Rich@Adorment Deluxe I would strongly recommend him. So if you've been thinking bout getting a PA but worried about the pain or peeing it's not a huge issue, just do it uSmile2

Hey Mikey, welcome to the "tribe," its great to have you here. I am so happy for you getting your PA, they are 1 of my faves, and they make a great 1st piercing on a guy, they usually heal quick and rarely have problems. Its just way cool that you've got yours now, congrats, congrats, and happy healing. Give us an update from time to time.

Well I'm closing in on week 2, no problems to speak of except sensitivity issues, but as long as i wear tight fitting underwear that seems to take care of that issue..... Unfortunately I am in between girlfriends so may be a while b4 i get to test it out so to speak lol. thanks guys for all your support-glad to be a member

Hey Mikey, how cool to hear how well your healing is going. I'm sure he will get used to the metal and not be bothered so much by the extra sensitivity. Just keep taking care of him, and thanks for the update.

Well my PA is all healed up (love it) can't wait to stretch it up to a 8 or 6ga-my piercer said i can prob do that in mid august. You guys were right steel is addictive, three weeks ago had both my ear lobes pierced at a 10ga healing coming along great!! Thanks for all the continued support!

Hey Guys,

Yesterday was my 5 month anniversary of my PA and it just so happened that my taper and new jewelry came in the mail yesterday. I was able to stretch to an 8ga no problem; the taper followed by my new 8ga 3/4" curved barbell went right in no problem. It moves freely, no feeling of tightness or anything and way more comfy than the 10ga jewelry i was wearing. I'm so excited & can't wait till the next size Smiling so how long should I generally wait till i try stretching to a 6???
