After getting my first piercings earlier this year (2 frenums), I'm hooked. I already went back for 3 more frenums and stretched the top one to 6ga. Even more hooked. I had decided shortly after the first two that I wanted my nipples pierced. I enjoy my wife's pierced nipples more than she does and mine have always been very sensitive. So I went in to see Nikki K at Chrome Gardens in Gettysburg. She has done all my piercings so far (and my wife's VCH.
Nikki is very friendly, helpful, professional and gets excited after each piercing she does. She warned me that nipple piercings are very painful, especially if my nipples are already sensitive (which I admitted to). But, she added, since I had done well with 8ga frenums and stretching one of them to 6ga already, she was confident that I'd do ok. Her tray of sterile supplies was ready and she gloved up. After cleaning my nipples and marking them, and recleaning and remarking them, she asked if I was ready and clamped my left nipple. Then inhale deep and exhale - there goes the needle. This time it was like slow motion, the needle seemed to take forever going through. Same thing for the right, forever... The circular barbells (Le Roi Internally Threaded Titanium in Oil Slick, 10ga) went right in and we were done. Some cleaning up of the blood, but not really that much.
No real issues for the last two days. Today was kind of interesting at work. The A/C vents blow right on me when I'm sitting at the computer. Now I've read others' experiences and recommendations not to get nipples pierced when they'll be cold and I now fully understand. A/C blowing directly on me made for wonderfully sensitive nipples to become very hard and sore. I'll have to adjust a little tomorrow, at least until I'm better healed.
So my sensitive nipples now have metal and I'm VERY happy already.
