My wife had been telling me how sexy it would look if I got my nipples pierced. So one day, I decided to do it. I took her to work, not letting on that I was going to do anything other than go home as usual, and wait for her to get off work.

As soon as I dropped her off, I headed for the beach side, down to Generation X Tattoo/Body Piercing in Daytona Beach Shores. I was still a little apprehensive about the whole thing, so while I was picking out my jewelry, I opted to only get the one done.

They took me back into the studio, which was immaculately clean, and they had the large red toolboxes like you'd see in an auto shop in each cubicle, each having individually sealed jewelry, needles, clamps, and everything they'd need to pierce.

Well, the piercer told me to hop up in the chair (which looked exactly like a dentist's chair) and take off my shirt. So I did, and he grabbed out the ring, clamp, needle, and various other things, and unwrapped them, setting them in a tray which he had just pulled out of the autoclave.

While he was cleaning the area, and setting up, we were bullshitting, and he was really friendly, and extremely helpful in telling me what to expect, as he had his done before also.

So he put the clamp on my nipple and told me to take a deep breath. And he said on three to start exhaling. Although his count was "three" as he put the needle through, which hurt like a mother . I unfortunately let out a string of obscenities loud enough for someone who had planned on getting several piercings done to hear, and they changed their mind at the last second.

And before I could look down at the needle, the ring was already in, and set. The piercer then proceeded to clean the site and gave me a package of Steri-Swabs (which look like Q-tips but have medicated liquid in them to aid in after care) and sent me on my way.

I went back to pick up my wife from work a few hours later, and when she got in the car, I wasn't wearing a shirt (partially because the shirt I had on had buttons and the back of the button (the thread and ) was digging into it, and partially because I wanted her to see her surprise). She was absolutely surprised, and let's just say that it turned out to be a very good night for me.

That was almost three years ago (unfortunately one of the two closed because I had to take them out for Basic Training), so now I have to go get the right one done again.

My wife absolutely loves my nipple piercings, so much, that she plans on getting hers done on payday.
