So on October 1st I finally decided to get my septum pierced. I had been thinking about this piercing for a while but was a little hesitant because I don't think that everyone can pull this particular piece off. Just not sure if my face was suited for it. I decided to just go ahead and do it and if it didn't look right there should be no reason I couldn't take it out or just flip it up. So I went to my piercer who is about an hour away. He's been piercing a long time and this made number 8 that he's done on me. I laid back in the chair after everything was adjusted and he stood at the end my head was pointing. I had to tilt my head a little so he could get a good angle. He cleaned my nose with some stuff and lined up the receiving tube and in the needle went. It was over very quickly. I was surprised as usual at how little the piercing actually hurt. I seem to always expect a lot more pain than I get so this was a relief. It did make one of my eyes water pretty bad though. So far I really like this piercing and I plan on keeping it!
