Experience... I did a lot of research on it and read one comment where a woman had went through the Association of Profesional Piercers to find a shop, so I did the same. I found 3 in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area. Randy Adams in Ft Worth, Taboo Tattoos and Trilogy Obscurities in Dallas. I had called Randy Adams and I spoke with the girl who does the piercings. I felt like I was waisting her time asking questions so decided to go elsewhere. I spoke with Tim from Taboo Tattoos and he was very professional yet laid back and I liked that so I went the same night to see him, July 24th, 09. Very simple, in and out procedure. I was smiling all night long as I had been thinking of this for months. I'm very pleased I did it. I took a friend with me and she was more shaken by it than I was.

Some say very painful and some say not so much. When he said breathe out about half way through I took a breath in when he put the needle through but that was it. I had pinched myself there and on the nips to see which one I could handle more. My nips are far more sensitive so I went with the VCH. A friend of mine is just the opposite, so it all depends on you. But do a pinch of the hood as hard as you can stand it and that lets you know a general idea of the pain you will feel, but honestly, it was the length of the exhale, so it's over before know it.

Question....

The only downside I see so far (and feel) is that they had one piece of jewelry for this (and one size). One size does not fit all! But I am a little longer on the hood and see the pictures all showing your lower ball sticking out on the outside of the hood. My top ball is all the way to the top and the lower ball is tucked up inside the hood, which depending on which way it is turned, it needs adjusting. I haven't seen the answer to this so far, so just wondering if anyone knows. I figure as soon as it heals I will be shopping for a longer bar to where the ball is outside the hood.

But even with that, I don't regret it at all! And the mental excitement of it is great, it totally makes me feel erotic, even when I am at work. And no one is the wiser but me.
