Right, don't get fooled into thinking it won't hurt as I did (after reading loads of peoples experiences saying it was a 'pinch') because it bloody did.

Having wanted it for a while, and in the last week getting really obsessed about getting it, I got it today, along with my tragus. I was a bit anxious about being pierced by a man, but as soon as I layed on the table with my bits out I was over that - and he was very professional anyway.

He gave me a wipe and marked a dot, after a bit of poking around which wasn't at all uncomfortable.

I've been thinking about getting a piercing down there for some time now and never really had the courage to do it until today. For about the past week i've been looking up experiences and doing my research and let me tell you its almost exactly how everyone else describes it. Few seconds of ouch then you are walking out the door pain free.
My piercer was very cool about the whole thing. My bf came in with me and the guy explained the piercing to us, showed the tools and explained the procedure in detail. He then left the room so i could strip down.

It has not been 12hrs yet since I got my vch piercing. I'm so happy with my decision.
I decided I wanted to get another piercing after having nothing to show for my last two previous piercings (tongue and belly button). I only told 3 friends about my interest. Ash expressed interest in having one also and we decided to go together at the end of February.
This will give me time to do research on what I truly wanted. Initially I thought I want HCH for the aesthetics but based on benefits alone I realize the VCH is the one for me.

Ok, so years ago I first saw a VCH pic and said "Ouch! Never!" But...the more I thought about it, saw the pics and heard of the pleasure it brings, I FINALLY said WTH and did it!

In the end of 2009 I became newly single. Before that I had asked his opinion of "girly-parts" piercings. He replied that it is a very sexy thing and is definately a turn on. So, that got my pea-brain working up the courage to get it done. But, in the meantime, we ended up splitting...whatever.

Well today I took the plunge and had my VCH done. Have wanted it done for years but never had the courage. Found a local piercer that does appointments on a Sunday .. so I booked and told everyone so I couldn't back out. Matt at the Piercing Room in Wakefield was an absolute doll .... talked me through everything and really put me at ease. Felt uneasy undressing but once I was on the table it felt more like a medical examination and was not embarrassing at all, although I did colour up when he said 'you're warm down here' and 'open wide'. The whole process took a matter of minutes ...

I went yesterday to get my Vertical Hood Piercing. It was a birthday present to myself. I had wanted one for a while but was scared to get it. A friend paid upfront for the piercing and told me to go get it done. Since he paid for it I couldn't back out.

I read a lot online about it ahead of time and read all about the different reactions and pain involved. I decided I was going to just do it and not let other's ideas of pain influence me.

Pain ranged from worse than child birth to not much at all.

On a very cold day of January 30th, I walked in to a shop called " Ink Spot" in Ottawa with my friend Reedtard ( Also a user on Tribalectic.com ) with the intention of walking out with a little more.. "bling". Me and Reed had decided, that he would be going first for his frenum piercing, and then I would go in for my Vertical Clitoral hood. Soon after Reed got his done,it was my turn.

We waited a few minutes as the piercer Chris was cleaning the room and the instruments and getting ready for round 2. It was my turn to drop down the pants and "Man-Up".

I had done nipple and VCH 6 months back .My bf always wanted to do it and he hiself took me to his friends parlour . I was not having much pain while doing nipples but VCH hurt a lot as it got struck for a while.Tears came from eyes but my bf holded my hands . Still totaly it was good and exitation is MUCH higher after piercing .So what I suggest is go to expereienced piercer and dont consider to get it done with friends or ourself.

I have my clitoral hood for the 3rd time, I didn't know why I taken it out. There wasn't anything wrong with it,but I went on December 19,2009 and got it. I went in and fill out the form. I did bring in my own jewelry that I had before. It was an captive circular barbell. I want a circular barbell. They sterization for 10 minutes and then call me back in the small room. It was very clean room. April say take your bottom off and lay on chair and bent your legs so it not in way. So she feel me and couldn't find the scar that I had before. So she just pierce me.

Ok...first of all, I spent nearly a year searching this site to get the courage to get my piercing! So thank you all who helped to convince me!!

First off, I went for a VCH (I was told this was best for sensation.) I had it done in London without anaesthetic and it was over much quicker and nicer than I thought! People's experiences of VCH pain on here range from "worse than childbirth" to "didn't even notice it"...I would say the run up to it is much worse, I was saying 'NO!' right up until it was pierced lol.
