I have been wanting a vch for years, I finally plucked up the courage after much reaserch. I finally contacted Simon at forever&ever in poole dorset. He gave me an appointment for the very next day {friday}. On arrival Simon talked me and my hub through everything, and went and go everything ready. I was nervous as hell! I got up on the couch, not easy being in a wheelchair! I was asked to get ready while simon turned away.
he drew the dot asked if i was ready and said breathe with me. When the neddle went in it hurt like hell, but only for a few seconds.
Hi guys,
So today I got my piercing, my VCH. I am so happy that I got it I couldn't stop smiling:). So this is my experience story...
Got up around 5am this morning with nothing on my mind expect fulfilling my dying wish to get pierce in the most sexiest way. Since I was a teenager I wanted to get my hood pierce but of course that never happen until so and so years later.
I got my hood pierced about 20 mins ago and let mi tell you. My piercer Shimp was awesome!!! Virginia Beach Ink was VERY professional and they even put up cloth screens so no one would see me taking off my clothing. He sprayed my hood, positioned the tube, and I jumped a tiny bit because I thought the pain was going to be horrible...but boy was I soooo wrong. He stuck me and the little "tingle" lasted all of 2 secs if that then bam it was over. He placed a curved barbell on the hood and boy does it look ever so pretty.
I got my vch a week ago and I love it. I thought about it for a while before i called the place I went to about how much it was. So I went there and I signed all the paperwork while my piercer got the room ready. She told me she was done and we went into the back room. She had asked me to take off everything from the belly down. She examined me, cleaned and marked the area. She aligned the recieving tube. Let me tell you, the most uncomfortable/intense part is the recieving tube. She lined the needle, told me to take a deep breath and when I exhaled it was all over.
So i got my VCH a little less than a week ago and i absolutely love it. I was terrified when i went, but it really wasn't bad at all. it literally hurt for three seconds and then nothing! I wouldn't even consider it pain really... more of just a very intense feeling. I already have my tongue nose and ears pierced, and this was no worse then those! Although it was sensitive for the first day, I immediately fell in love with it. It makes most everything more enjoyable
to anyone out there that is thinking about doing it.... DO IT! trust me!
Alright guys, I've been thinking about getting a vertical hood peircing for awhile heard mostly that it hurts like crazy for a second or two but then the pain's all over- Well I'll let you know as soon as I get home

This was the most painful piercing yet and I now have 16. The clamp hurt EXTREMELY bad. The needle itself was just a pinch. It hurt just for a few seconds and the it was just a little sting. After just a few minutes I could not even tell it was there. I would advise anyone thinking about getting it to go for it though. I am 42 and the benefits far outweigh the few seconds of pain.
I have heard a few stories from people who have had a VCH, and all of them highly recommended it. I had determined to do it, but was very nervous about it, and ended up thinking about it, reading, researching, etc for the last 2 years, but never got up the guts to actually do it! Aside from my ears, and a nose ring I had for about 6 mos when I was 15, this is my only piercing. I`m definitely not your typical hardcore piercee.
So a few years ago I got my VCH done and was scared to do it! I had a girl which made me feel better, but the pain was very intense...it lasted just a minute or so thankfully! I took it out about a year later and silly me of course it closed up over time! I just went and got it redone today, same place (Sacred Art, Nazareth PA) same girl (she owns the place) and 1, 2, 3 got re-pierced! It barely even hurt, maybe a little pinch, threaded the jewelery and we're all done! Those of you worried about getting it done, don't be! Find a good piercer and you'll be good to go!
Well I am 43 and Am into piercings and Tats I finaly decided to go for it and get a VCH. I researced it alot and read experiences out the wazoo on many sites, so I thought I wasnt going into this ignorant, I was informed..
I had my favorite Shoppe Kaleidoscope in Springfield, Missouri my piercer is Ben Hes a great guy, very professional and fun. I went in and told him what I wanted he had me do the normal paper work then into the big red chair I went. I watched him make sure everything was in order, listened to the after care instructions while he set up all new equipment.
