Finally had enough guts to do it. After spending a lot of time researching, I finally did it. I drove from Vancouver to Seattle to see Chuck of Pierced Hearts after calling and speaking to her (unfortunately I wasn't too impressed with what I saw in Vancouver and I wanted someone highly recommend by Elayne Angel and was a member of the APP). Chuck was amazing and a true professional throughout the whole procedure. Yes, it does hurt like a BIG HUGE $&@? OUCH; but she did it so respectfully.
Forgive the ink still left on and the slight lean to one side but taking photos of your hoohaa after getting your navel pierced (making any core movement painful) is just plain difficult, but hey, it shows what was done
So today after soooo much research and deliberation, I went to Birmingham Uk with the boyfriend to get my navel redone and a vch piercing.
At first when walking into the store (Oasis who had a piercing studio on their ground and first floor) I'll admit; I was worried.
so after months of wanting and waiting to get this piercing, i finally got it done today! it was an early birthday present from my boyfriend i had done tons of research on it, from reading experiences on this site to buying The Piercing Bible! the experience was pretty much everything i expected. i did some research on the piercer and asked about his experience with genital piercings and i knew he would be great once he said he uses an NRT for it! he was extremely helpful and really made me feel at ease.
I had my first VCH doene last Sat. only to come home from vacation and surf the net a bit and compare mine to others.... To my compleat it was done compleatly wrong and was a surface piercing that went through the entire skin of my hood and NOT under it!! She used stirups the first time and my skin rolled!! So I called her back and told her it was surface, she offers to fix it for me. So we go in and I asked her to use a NRT (needle recieving tube).
I finally got my VCH done today! I had been researching it online for about a year and finally had all I could take of just reading and decided I would go get it done. I checked with the hubby (who was extatic) and we decided to go today and get it after my dentist appointment.
I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to do it today because the usual piercer was out on maternity leave and I had never met the new one. We got there and met her and she was PERFECT!
I pondered, studied and researched before deciding on this piercing. I called around my area looking for a female piercer (not that males aren't just as professional, just personal preference). On my second call I got lucky and found a gal that made me feel comfortable immediately, even over the phone, so just a couple of days later I went to the shop and got the piercing.
The piercer was very careful to get the receiving tube in the right spot. The pain was so minimal, I was amazed! Just a quick, small pinch and it was over! It looks beautiful and it's healing quite nicely.
I had been thinking for a couple of months about getting this done, and reading the " Piercing Bible" and have to say, I am so glad I finally decided to do it. I was a little nervous about the pain, etc.. but oh my gosh, what a waste of worry!! I took my best girl with me, and she held my hand, and was my support. Good to bring someone that you can trust with you.. makes it more memorable in my opinion My Piercer, at Prix Tattoo and Piercing in Pasadena, CA was great!
I turned 18 last week. As soon as I heard about the piercing, I knew I had to have it. I already get off alot. With this... the possibilities were endless.
So I went in and demanded one from my piercer. He did it perfectly. I even emailed elayne angel a picture, and she said it was perfect.
It barely hurt. It was so worth it I get off from really silly stuff now, but I'm learning to deal with it. My friends like to nudge me and see what happens, haha. For any girl, I definitely reccommend it. Just be sure to find a good piercer.
I got my VCH piercing done yesterday. I researched about it before I decided to get it. Randomly I had the courage to go get it yesterday . The piercer was very professional and I felt completely comfortable. He used a Needle Receiving tube and the pain hurt for a few seconds then it actually felt good. I looked at other people's piercings online and 89% of them were done wrong. I looked at mines today and Im proud to say that it is PERFECT!! Im so glad I decided to get this done and I don't plan on taking it out anytime soon.
These two day's a day of firsts for me, my first post on Tribalectic and my first VCH piercing tomorrow.
I have lurked on Tribalectic for a few months now and have been really reassured by the posts from people about their VCH experiences.
I live in the UK in a little town in Wales, and so finding a reputable genital piercer has been a journey on it's own. But i found one, HOORAY!
I was recommended this shop twice by two separate tattoo artists/body piercers.
