So after wanting to get my nostril pierced for AAAAGES I finally did it
Everyone had assured me it wouldn't hurt, and after reading up on lots of experiences online I was fairly sure I wanted it done. I went to our local piercing place where I had already had 3 other piercings, so it was great to be pierced by a familiar person
I asked him if it was gonna hurt and he said, to be honest it will hurt quite a bit, your eyes will water. He cleaned my nose, marked with a dot where the piercing would be and I checked to see if it looked okay. Exciting
Then he pierced it!
It was the worst piercing experience out of all my piercings. I was a little nervous, and the guy told me that this is his first time. I think he was joking. I really couldn't tell, because it seemed like he was joking alot. I decided to get my right NOSTRIL pierced. He got the needle through and then he made a mistake and said my it was to thick. In my opinion, I think it was the angle. Then since he messed up, he had to get a bigger needle through again. It hurt the first time and then he had to do it again! He butchered me!
My mother had told me I could get my nose pierced after she died. Little did anyone know that that would be only a few years later. I returned to Virtue and Vice in Atlanta hoping to have another wonderful experience with April. However she was out of town and the man taking her place for the week was not as great. To be honest this is what made me realize I should always go with who I know. The man was kind and funny. However the experience itself was what didn't go so great. The first time I had my nostril pierced it was a lovely sensation.
I had wanted this piercing since I was 8 years old, however my mother wouldn't let my neighbor pierce me at that age so I had to wait until I was old enough to get it done on my own. I went to virtue and vice in Atlanta and had the most wonderful experience with April. She was so wonderful I felt no discomfort or pain. This was my first facial piercing and I loved it so much I wanted more. However when I returned to my mother she looked at me and said nothing except you disgust me and not in my house.
On my 18th birthday I had been planning for a long while to get my nostril pierced. So D-day came and I went to my decided tattoo/piercing venue. I was incredibly nervous.
My friend held my hand all the way through and the piercer was super amazingly hot.
Which helped.
I had my naval done a few months earlier and it hurt extremely bad. So, I thought maybe a piercing on the face with thousands more nervous would hurt a thousand times more.
I got my ears pierced five times as a child. All by gun. All infected, swollen, allergenic, or otherwise effed up. But in October of 2008 I decided to pierce my nose. I really didn't feel like paying a piercer to do something so small and simple. [Rebellious little shit-disturber. I know. Stupid kid. I know.]
I had been wanting a new piercing for a while, and had came to the conclusion the next addition would be either my nostril or my snug. Originally I had been leaning towards my snug because I'm in college studying to become a medical lab tech, and facial piercings aren't too popular in a hospital lab, plus I'm scared of needles and a needle coming towards my face wasn't my idea of fun. Well I decided, screw it, I'd do it anyways. My friend and I had our night planned out, we'd get dinner, get pierced (my nostril, her rook), then waste some time til our movie started.
this was the first none lobe piercing i got and it didn't hurt at all! the needle didn't even feel sharp just felt like the piercer was tugging the needle through really hard.
but i think i was just lucky coz the piercer said it was the the most painful piercing she's ever got and she had a LOT of piercings!!!
also my little sister got it done a couple months after me and hers really hurt her but that could be coz she quite young (she's only 13) anyways if you want it done get it done coz in my opinion it really didn't hurt.
