Little over a year ago, went to get my septum. A bit intimidated as it was my first piercing, but it was all downhill. I think I have a decent tolerance for pain, so the piercing really didn't hurt that bad to be honest.

I'm typing this the day after, if you're really interested.
Anyway, for the past year, I've wanted my septum done. I've always thought it cute, plus the ability to hide it so well is awesome. So finally, I got it done. whewt.
The piercer kept telling me it would hurt. And as he was 'checking me out' (cleaning the area), he said it'd hurt because my cartilage and the thicker part of my septum are so close. He free handed it. With the needle in one hand and a tube like instrument in the other, I was told to hold really still.

This is a story about my 3rd piercing, my septum.

I had wanted it done for a while but something always came up, I got sick, or couldn't spare the money or last minute plans forced me to wait.

Finally, my friend and my boyfriend and I picked a day and made appointments to get piercings done together at a local shop that we all had been to before and trusted.

We all went out to lunch before hand and my friend's boyfriend also came along for moral support.

One day, in a a galaxy far far away, I went and got my septum pierced and a friend came with to get her nostril done. The piercing was nearly painless and the piercer mentioned that I had the perfect type of septum for stretching to large gauges. At the time I laughed as I figured I'd never stretch. I was pierced at 14 gauge and thought it was nice and delicate looking on my face.

After getting my nipple pierced, i had an incredible urge to get my septum pierced. I went back to abody later that day to get it done.

I sat down on the bed while brian cleaned and numbed my nose.
He got some tunnel-like clamps and played aroung quite a bit to find me sweet spot, which is apparently in a very good place!

I got my septum piercing about 2 weeks ago. I had contemplated getting it done for a whole year before I actually did. I read all the do's and don'ts, asked a lot of questions and read all the aftercare methods to make sure this was something I really wanted before getting it done.

I got my septum pierced four days ago now.I was going to my friends house and had a few extra hours on my hands so decided to get it done.I lay down as the piercer cleaned the spot where it was to go, the clamp hurt like hell and I was extremly tempted to back out.The needle was put through slowly and I could feel exactly where it was, I am not going to lie, it was rather uncomfortable, but I am only a little 16 yr old girl, so if I can handle it I am sure you can.I had never been to this particular piercer before and I certainly regret it.He said the ring was small enough to flip up and hide,

first, my friend wa sleeping over and wanted me to pierce her septum and i got everything ready and it wouldnt go through her nose, so she suggjested tht i do it with her, so i got mine through but hers still ddnt go through. so i am sitting there with a safety pin sicking out of my nose i pulled it out and REPIERCED it with a earring post. had it for a week and changed it to a circular barbell 16g. and i flip it up around my family. it looks super cool and i still have it my mom sister found out but neither care much. i also submitted expirences on my bellybutton/tragus/cartlidge.

Dudeso I totally wanted my septum pierced, cuz I hadnt seen many people with it done. Me and two friends went to a random piercing place without really thinking about it..bad mistake dude. When we went inside, it looked totally unprofessional. There were nails and insulation sticking out of the ceiling and walls, and like everybody was smoking, right in the lobby area. Then it was time to get a needle through my nose. The dude told me not to move at all, so that the piercing would be done straight. I did not move at all.

I got my septum pierced at an all night church function for our youth group. Some place to pierce yourself, huh?Anyway, my friend said we should pierce something of hers so we pierced her labret and she said I should get my septum done. I agreed but I was scared out of my mind because I was afraid she was going to hit the cartilage, but I trusted her just enough to let her do it.She got out her safety pin which was about the size of a 16ga piercing needle and she sterilized it.
