My septum piercing was short lived. I went to the piercer and I was scared because people told me it realy really hurt to have your septum pierced. My piercer Gen went through telling me what she was going to do and how she was going to do it. She sat me in a chair, gave me some bean bag pumpkins to grip onto (I thought that was really cool, it made me feel better to have something to dig my claws into), she put on some gloves, cleaned everything, took the needle and asked me if i was ready. "Just do it!" I said, and squeezed my eyes shut.
Although I dont reccomend this, it was my only choice.. I really wanted my septum pierced for the longest time and my parents would
on my face before theyd ever let me do it. Soo, one night while in a bad mood I pierced it myself with a piercing stud.(that was originally for my ears) It didnt hurt that bad, just made my eyes water. I do, however have a really high tolerance for pain. Ive also pierced the top and bottom of my navel myself and 10 other places on my ears (including an industrial, a rook, and 4 cartilidge) Tonight Im thinking abt doing an orbital!
NEW PIERCING:Last night I got my septum pierced. The piercer [Dave @ Ocean Mystique] told me he didn't want to pierce it at a 16 gauge- He said those have the tendency to rip. I was terrified. I have backed out of the process in the past, but finally decided that I really wanted to get this done. This is not my first piercing, though it is my first facial piercing.
When i got my first septum peircing, i found it to be kinda comforting, not to sound strange but it's true. The feeling was sharp but quick and followed with minor bleeding. I have would have never thought it would have felt the way it did.
Hi, i''m from mexico texcoco.First it was strange, everybody told me this one was going to hurt a lot, and i never had another piercing before, well except the ones in my ears that were made when i was born, well my piercing was done in tattomania in mexico d.f., and the guy told me that it will hurt but if i was relax it won't hurt me that much, my mom was there beside me and i think she was even more frighten than me, it really hurt, but like 2 seconds only, it was a 14g, and i drop few tears from my eyes but after 5 seconds, no pain at all, its only the pinch and when you have to clean
i am a 16 year old female from NY and this is my septum experience.i know how somepeople are against do-it-yourself piercings but i am so for them they save money and give me a bigger rush. i really wanted my septum done and i had no way to get a retainer or needles so i did it my own way. what i did is i took a paperclip and bent it into a retainer shape. i found my spot and them i held the paperclip against it and pushed in 2 minutes it was thro to the last layer in one push.
haha....well first i got it pierced at the warped tour and opted for a 16g retainer. bad choice, 2 days later it fell out. about a week ago, i got it pierced at the bus station by my piercer buddy...but he
up the first time around and there was a lot of PAINful jiggling of the ring. re-did it 5 minutes later and it's the straightest septum ring i've ever seen. worth the S and suffering...
felt amazing pressure and a pinch that made me jump, then no pain at all. opted for the full ring, not the spacer. the dial soap burned when i cleaned it! but no swelling or anything. i wasn't prepared for the STUPID COMMENTS of other people... (you know, like "bull ring" and people asking how i blow my nose.) of all my piercings this one seems to offend people the most. but i really like it and i think it's a very hassle free piercing.
Quite a unique experience...made my eyes water a lot but not overly painful. I felt like I got punched in the nose by Mike Tyson for the first few days but now almost 2 weeks later the soreness is almost gone... trying to soak your septum in sea salt/water is the tricky part, I almost drowned myself a few times! ;o)
It was a ton of fun. The guy made it painless and fun. It didn't hurt. It just felt strange. How often do you have a neddle go threw your nose. My eyes watered, a lot.
