Well I went to Wicked in Berkeley. It was a pretty good experience but it did hurt. The worst part really was the clamps, then the guy told me when he was piercing me so I could hold my breathe and count to 10 and then it would be over. I'm the biggest wuss I know when it comes to pain and I didn't even shed a tear =]!
I got this done a few days ago. I had it done at Cold Steel in Camden, London. I highly recommend them, they've done my last 3 piercings and they've all been great. Anyway, my septum was pretty simple really. I had a keeper put in for easy hiding purposes...
I wanted my septum peirced for a long time so after saving up the money and mustering up courage I finally went for it...I went to the parlor, did the I.D. thing, waited while he was sanitizing stuff, ect. Finally after about 20 minutes he was ready for me...I followed him to the chair, sat back and let him do the measuring and waited while he looked for the "sweet spot"...I started to get nervous because he told me that this was the first septum peircing he has done...oh, great!!
WHen i got my septum piercied it was pretty fast it took just about three minutes because the lady that was doing my septum paused and had to get a good grip to push the needle through.Thats really the only part that really hurt the most but besides that it was pretty quick to put the needle throught and clean up.I didn't really bleed to much either
i got my septum pierced last night and it was such a breeze. i didn't really even feel it! it hurt a bit when i had to flip it up for work this morning, but besides that is has been wonderful. there really isn't much more to say, besides that it was so easy to sit through.
id already pierced my nostril, eyebrow, navel, and nipples by the time i decided to pierce my septum. i have to say it was the easiest to deal with, by a mile. Ive heard from some people that it hurts, but really, mine was nearly painless. it pinched a little putting jewelry in and my eyes watered a bit, but it healed almost instantly. the piercer is someone i know well and trust, and he said bridge and septum are his least favorite piercings. i was warned that my skin might shift, in which case it might come out crooked, but it came out straight, its easily healing, and easy to hide.
I had anticpated gettting my septum pierced for some time. I told my boss ahead of time that during the initial healing I'd have to wear a ring and then could switch to a retainer. She told me she understood and if the hospital I work at didn't make a problem for me she wasn't going to bring it to their attention. So, I called the peircer to make an appointment. I called becaue I knew I would have a couple of days off work and I also wanted to get my nostril and my tongue done at the same time. He agreed. Sigh, well the septum is awesome.

I had decided to get my septum done years ago the the only problem was that i was underage and my mom hates anything on the body that god did not put there. I had always loved the way they looked. Right before my seventeenth birthday i asked my mom if she would let me go get it done. She said no and that this was the end of the conversation. I then so kindly reminded her that in a year from now i would be turning eighteen and would get it done anyway or could just get one of my friends to do it because they love to do it for people.
This was the LAST piercing I got at half-price at Utopia of Centereach. Having had it up to here, as it is, with Ben's now-visible drug habit and tempted by half-priceness, I decided to get my septum pierced in honor of surviving yet another car crash (yeah, i know what you're thinking. it's just chronic bad luck). I figured i could fix it myself if something went wrong. I got pierced with a 14g circular barbell that I asked the piercer to leave wide so that I could "flip up" my jewelry and hide it at work.
