Ok, a lot of people come to this site simply for information B4 getting it done so let me stick to that. My tongue piercing is 10 days old. Did it hurt? Well the thing is for me it did but I'm sure u've read other experiences and most say it didn't. The pain wasn't unbearable. I had a brazilian wax done yesterday and in retrospect that hurt more that my tongue did. I had my clitoral hood done and the tongue hurt more but it hurt less than when I had my navel done. If u've had any of these done B4 gauge the pain accordignly. Did it swell?

I just got my tongue pierced about 1 1/2 hours ago at Threshold in St. Charles, MO. Before this I'd had my nose and my tragus done, also at Threshold. I was more nervous than I thought I would be, and very torn between wanting it done insanely bad, and being too scared to go through with it. Anyway, I went in with my husband and they had me sign the release forms. Then the piercer took me back to the room. He checked my tongue. He said it was kind of short, but he would be able to pierce it no problem. Then he had me rinse with mouthwash, and after that he dried my tongue and marked it.

I've been obessed with getting my tongue done for almost a year now. My big problem though was how would I ever get away with it given my job. Eventually I decided to do it during my vacation and change to an invisible retainer once I had to get back to work. I was so disappointed when my piercer told me that I my tongue was too short but I refused to give up. I spoke to my dentist and he agreed to perform a frenomoty to remove my tongue web. Unfortunately, he never admitted to me that he was no good at it. I ended up having to do the surgery 3 times.

It was just me and the chair...waiting hopelessly for my peircer to emerge. I was so nervous...my heart was racing. I don't know who was more nervous me or my mother. "Okay we're ready for you now." Oh no, I heard her call me back. I walked slugishly to the room I'd be getting a new hole in. Since this was my first peircing I had no idea of what was going to happen. She told me to sit and relax and rinse my mouth with some nasty green mouthwash. So I did. It burned. I spit and she told me what she was going to do.

im amanda and im 17. i decided to get my tounge pierced the day before i actually got it done. lol. my friend that i live with, felicia, had just gotten her eyebrown pierced a few days ago and i was like hmm i want a piercing too...they look badass...so the next day me felicia and my other friend hannah(who wanted to get her monroe done) all went down to this little piercing shop that was like an hour away.

I have had my tongue done for about a month now. It was the most painless thing I have ever felt. The piercer sat me down, clamped my tongue, and checked under my tongue for veins, then he layed my tongue on the needle and came through the bottom then inserted the barbell. He told me to stick my tongue back in my mouth and it was over. I love my tongue piercing. I suggest getting it done you won't be sorry.

I got my tongue pierced two months ago. The first day I tried to get it done I was nervous as , and just everything kept going wrong and we didn't get to the shop till 5 minutes after they closed. As much as I wanted to get it done, I felt relieved. The next day I woke up and felt much more calm and relaxed about it so we headed back up there again. My friend went first and got his labret done, then it was my turn to get my tongue pierced.

Tongue piercings are very kickass I just got mine done last Friday 7-27-07 I live in Oklahoma and went downtown to OKC and got it down I had a friend pierce it b4 just with the ring itself (which hurts alot worse then gettin it down by a professional) I highly recommend anyone thinking bout getting it down to just do it if you have a swelling problem with your tongue I found that just keep takin ibprofen about 3 every 4-6 hours works really good and of course ice and all that most of my swelling is done with and i'm getting to where i can play with it more and move it around alot more with

Today, I went with my friend Misty to "Fantasy Piercings" in Alamogordo, New Mexico. I just had to give them id and fill out the paper work needed. The piercer brough me into "the room" and it was very clean just like a dental office. She gave me the 411 on your tongue and how to clean it. Misty was taking video/pictures lol. I was washing my mouth out with some mouth cleaner, But anyway, the piercer got the clamps out and she asked me to stick out my tongue. I guess I have a long tongue. She did that flashlight thing to look for veins or what not.

AT FIRST SHE TOLD ME TO PULL MY TONGUE SO SHE CAN SEE HOW LONG IT WAS.THEN SHE TOLD ME THAT MY TONGUE WAS TOO SHORT SO I CAN'T GET IT. SO I TOLD HER TO STILL DO IT BECAUSE I REALLY WANTED IT. SO OK SHE MARK WERE ITS WAS BEST TO PUT THE HOLE. COUNT TO 3 THEN ITS WAS DONE I FELT A LITTLE PAIN.AND BFORE I KNEW IT WAS OVER. BUT AFTER A COUPLE HOURS BITCH PLEASE THAT STARTED TO KILL ME I CAN'T EAT I WAS SO HUNGRY.....NOW I'M ON DAY 2 IT FEELS A LITTLE BETTER....BUT NEVER AGAIN
