Hi , I had my tongue pierced today . I'm really surprised at the fact that it was not even slightly painfull and my tongue has not yet started to swell . fingers crossed it don't !!
I got my tongue pierced almost a year ago...I went to Artistry In Ink in Ft. Wayne, IN, with my two step sisters and my mom and stepdad. My piercer, Kris, explained everything to us..I went back with him, rinsed my mouth with listerine, and sat on the chair. He told me to stick out my tongue, and then he clamped it. He checked where my nerves wre in my tongue and found a good spot to pierce. He took the needle out of the package and on a count of 3 he stuck the needle through...It didnt hurt at all!
I had a great experience and I litteraly just got my tongue pierced not more than an hour ago. I went down to Tat 2 Majik located in scenic Nacogdoches, Texas. My piercer was Olivia. She explained everything to me before she did it. She opened everything in front of me. She was very nice. I rinsed my mouth out for about a minute with mouthwash. She then sat me down and explained what she was going to do. She dried off my tongue and had me keep sticking it out. She looked at my tongue with a light to find my nerves.
I was so nervous when I sat in the chair. The piercer made me rinse my mouth with listerine , then he clamped my tongue and looked where my nerves were underneath. He then marked the spot , but to my surprise he pierced going up instead of down!I almost
myself , not from the pain but from the surprise, he said he did it so he wouldn't hit my nerves. It only hurt for a second. It swelled quickly I could talk fine but could barely eat.The swelling went down in 3 days , and it was only a little sore.If you are thinking about this piercing g for it!
I was very nervous about getting my tongue pierced... b/c although I heard a lot of really good experiences with it... I heard one bad one that stuck with me until I got it done. The procedure itself took less than 5 minutes. There was no pain involved whatsoever, or discomfort. I have had this piercing for almost a month now and if you are thinking about getting this piercing... just do it! Take a deep breath... and do it. It's so worth it! I love this piercing and if I had to do it all over, I would do it in a second.
when i got my tongue done it didnt even hurt..yeah i had a couple of beers in me but thats besides the point.anyways i went to the local tattoo/piercein shop and i knew the guy who owned it and him and i were good friends..well i went done there and i got it done. it didnt even hurt.
first of all i would like to say this is my 4th time getting my tongue pierced and this time for some reason it hurt like hell. well, anyways the reason why i had to do it 4 times is because the all 3 times it got infected it was irritated and it was sore for a month so i gave up and just took the dang thang out. then i decided to do it again this time find out more info about it and how to take care of it well its been a week now and it looks great ive been taking much good care of it.
I just got my tongue done on 1/26/07and i dont know what to expect from it , it was fine the first day i got it, then it started to swell , but thats not whats worrying me, my tongue looks discolored and its kinda bleeding, not so much swollen any more but underneath my tongue i guess by my salivary gland and its really red idk what to think if any one has experienced any of this please tell me, THANX! and email me at Anberlin07@yahoo.com
After i sign the papers and pay. The piercer gets his utensils to perform. He tells me to swish mouthwash and spit. He dries my tongue, clamps me, and marks me.He tells me to take a deep breath and i laugh instead. i only felt a pinch and he was already screwing on the jewlery. Afterwards its swells and begins to hurt. it hurts underneath than the top. The pain subsides after 5 days to a week. with me i expirenced some tenderness on my second week but after a month its in its healing process fa real. i have hd this piercing for six months.
MY experiences, with my tounge ring. First of all she is 12 days old and doing great. I had a lot of trouble, I couldent hid it from me ma, and she was not happy. But I kept it, I love having it, I'd recomend it to anyone and everyone. Now to my experiences, my piercer didn't tell me my tounge would change colors, and how the chaning it works and how long to wait. Day 1 was great I was so thrilled but I was very nevrous. The next days sucks bec my mouth would be dry in the morning and hurt, which is normal.
