I got my tongue pierced on 1-6-07 saturday i was freaking out i had to sit there for 5 minutes before anything cuz i was hyperventilating after she calmed me down she made me swish with listerine gold the nasist ever that was the worst part my eyes watered and it burned so bad then she marked my tongue and pierced it it didnt hurt at all the jewlery kinda sucked going in but wasnt bad. its the 3rd day today and its swollen and sore but its alright if you want it do it there no pain except for the mouthwash lol

I have had my tongue peirced for many years. And have never had a problem with it, not even when I first had it done. There was no swelling of any sort. This message is to anyone who can help me... today it has started to swell up. it is sore and the tissue around the barbell is very hard. I haven't eaten anything different than I usually do and haven't caught it on anything. There is no discharge or any discoloration. But very painful and my whole tongue is sore, not just one side of it. I am afraid to take it out incase there is an infection inside.

ok i just got my tounge pierced on the 29 of december. it was quick and painless the clamps hurt more than anything. its still swollen and there is a white tab of skin or something infront of the piercing. does anybody here know what it is and if it will go away?? message me please.

This was another I was scared to death to get, but after watching other people get theirs done before me, I decided to do it. And it was't bad at all! There was slight pressure as the needle went through and it was over. The worst part came a few hours later because it was so swollen and I couldn't eat anything and couldn't talk, but after the third day, the pain was basically gone, I could eat okay, and I could talk a little better. I haven't had any trouble with my teeth or anything, either!

OK. ME & MY BEST FRiEND HAD REALLY WANTED OUR TONGUE PiERCED AND WE HAD THiS OTHER FRiEND THAT WENT TO SCHOOL WITH US THAT HAS HERS SO WE ASKED HER ABOUT IT AND SHE TELLS US SHE DID IT HER SELF BUT IT DIDNT HURT! SHE SAID SHE DIDNT EVEN HAVE A NEEDLE SHE JUST PUSHED THE BARBELL UP THROUGH THE BOTTOM OF HER TONGUE. SO LATER ME & MY FRIEND TRIED IT AND IT HURT LIKE HELL BUT AFTER A FEW DAYS THE PAIN STOPPED AND IT WAS ALL GOOD!

Okay, So im 14 and desperatly wanted my tongue pierced so i talked to the parents about it which went well The next week i was filling out the form at our local piercng place. She called us in the small room which smelt reli clean and talked us over the usual.. i was soo nervous but i thought that id regret it if i chickened out so i washed my mouth out in disinfectant stuff none of this listerine lyk i expected bt i didnt mynd.

Well this is my this was my third time getting my tongue pierced and it was even scary then before because I really wanted it. I went to the same shop I had it done twice before but the guy who always did it was not there any more the manager of the shop had to do it. Well any ways it was my tirn I wen and sat in the dentist chair . He came with his assitant who was learning how to pierce he was teaching him everything talking about the veins which was really freaking me out so finally he was ready... 1....2......3...... poke it was that bad now for the ring ......slip.....

So like I just got my tongue pierced like maybe an hour ago or less.. and it wasn't as painful as I thought it would be! And I am very pleased with the way it looks in my mouth. I totally recommend it, it was VERY quick and it wasn't painful. I mean like you get to eat softie foods for like a couple of weeks, like ice cream but I don't have a problem with that at all. But anyways enough about me. Don't hesitate and just go get it done.

I just got my tounge pierced about 3 hours ago.It didnt hurt as much as i thought, but stung for an hour or so.Now it feels fine unless i move the bar around alot.If your concidering this piercing just do it.I dont regret it one bit.
