I had probably been thinking of a Prince Albert piercing for at least 8 years. I had done plenty of research on the Internet about it, but I had one main concern: urination. I didn’t want to have to sit all the time. I also had reservations about having an extra hole behind my glands that could remain open. I must have read and continue to read many personal experiences where men have been wearing their P.A. for years and love it to death. I would seldom run across a personal experience where the man totally regretted it.
I pondered the idea sometime last year, but never went through with it. I figured it was something I'd always admire but never have.
Proved that idea wrong today! Last night I went in after work to get one done, and completely forgetting my driver's license at home.
Post afternoon I went into Platinum Piercing Studios (San Antonio, TX) with my license, and filled out the necessary paperwork. And before I knew it, I was in the piercers' room.
After I 'dropped trou,' we got to business. I'd never seen so many small metal devices in my life!
Today I got my first piercing ever.. a 10ga pa.. i wasn't even planning on getting it really today.. after wanting to get something pierced for the past two months, i decided that i would get a pa done.. so i researched it online and was pretty comfortable with it.
i began reasearching places to get it done and came accross a place and went there to visit.
the piercer was gone to lunch, so they told me to have a seat and he'd be with me shortly.
he got back from lunch and i was just going to talk to him about the procedure, etc.
Have always gone big in gauge with my piercings. did not plan to go to big with my pa which is about 3 years old. but recently changed my mind. have seen pics on this sight of 2 or 3 rings through the same hole. did that today as teh first step in stretching my pa, have a 2g cbr in normally, today added 2-10g cbrs. very hot looking and is ging to make it easier when i go for a 0 or 00 gauge cbr. am also considering getting an amp. from whati have read on this sight, i should be a fair distance back from the tip of the head.
After much thought, and scrolling through page after page of pictures, i finally went and got it done!
*im not the piercing type of person, its my only one
*i dont like needles at all
i know its been said many times, but honestly, if its the actual procedure your worried about, but really want one, DO IT.
I went to see my piercer the week before to ask any questions i still had un answered, he told me that by far the best to be pierced with, was a 10ga (2.4mm) segment ring, as the ring is one complete circle with no balls etc and could freely rotate through the piercing.
one week later
Ok so I have been wanting a PA for YEARS and finally after lots of thought I decided to just grow some balls and do it. I went to KOLO Piercing here in Atlanta, and spoke with GiGi who's the head piercer there. She was awsome talking to me about every step of the way. We decided to pierce me at a 12 but gauge me to a 10 so that it would help heal faster. She made me feel completly at ease, and considering that I have other piercing knew somewhat what to expect. When the needled entered I gave an OWSHIT by the time the word was out of my mouth the pain was gone.
HI
Ive started with a 10 auge pa about a year ago very on my nerves and was stretching all the good things but finally im ready to do the zero gauge im going with a 25mm bent barbell with a +/- 12mm ball on the one end and a +/- 15mm ball on the other i"m not sure wat the looks would be like but hell if here is somebody with one like that or just some body that can tell me what they think i"d like that till then but it is one thing i can say a pa is awsome

My best friend and I decided that it was time to get them done after many discussions and LOTS of research. After walking into the shop and talking to our piercer we were both comfortable with the idea. We both chose to go 10ga circular barbell. Our nerves were on edge about being stabbed with a needle down there as you can well imagine. Everything in place we started and with in 30 minuets we were both done and walking out of the shop wondering why we waited so long to have it done. To anyone that is considering have a PA done, Go for it, its nothing like what you think its going to be.
Finally after months if not years of this big debate I finally went and took the plunge. I went down to Hot Rod Piercing on the south side of Pittsburgh to get my wiener pierced. Nervous? Yep. The actual procedure wasnt all that bad at all. The receiving tube didnt bother me. According to my piercer, I didnt even flintch when the needle went through. (I couldnt watch)I went with a 10 gauge ring with the recommendation from the piercer. I did expect some bleeding, but nothing like what happened. I bled like a stuck pig with this piercing.
