A word of warning for guys with septum piercings..they "Can" close up on you.I got my septum pierced nearly two years ago,and three weeks ago,was hospitalised,I was placed on an oxygen cannular for 5 days,and thus was forced to remove my 4ga nosering so the cannular would fit my nose properly.When I got home and attempted to put the ring back in,the hole had not only shrunk in guage size,there was an internal "blockage" inside it,I couldnt even get a 10GA ring in it,never mind the 4GA that was there for 20 months.it had "closed over" internally.I posted this experience here,to warn guys...NEVE

I had wanted this for awhile, great shock value for non pierced idiots. It did'nt go very well though, the first try was a little crooked so he redid it. Hurt more than I thought since everyone else said it did'nt hurt (I think they're lying). It's by far my favorite piercing and I cant wait to start strecting it. I had to start with a 14 gage in case it did'nt go over well at work and I had to flip it up. So far I have heard just about everything possible about it but I hav'nt been told to take it out.

well im fourteen, not ACTUALLY from us or anything but sunny singapore hehe..i hear down there you need like parents consent tohave a piercing until youre eighteen.what the man.here you just need to sign.no law.so anyway i've done a navel a tongue and then this septum.the most painful and not to mention crooked piercing ive done ISNT the septum,hahahah but the tongue.i had to wait five long seconds before the needle got through.so much for painless.navel was not painful at all.then theres the septum.well duh theres a measure of pain but everyone like makes it sound so b

did it myself in my bathroom, really the hardest thing i've ever done in my life. i really researched it before i tried, and when i was good and ready, i got out the receiving tube and needle, and went at it. took me half an hour to get ready enough to push it through. now that i've done it, not much else scares me anymore... except girls. haha

During the summer, I got board with a saftey pin. For a long time i'd been wanting a piercing really bad, so i just decided to take the safety pin and pierce my septum. Not one bit of pain, it healed fine, and no infection. I didn't even use any cleaning product's to prevent from infection.After about 3 months, I decided to gauge it to a 14 using a nail. This hurt, but not as much as i'd expected.I'm pleased with the results, all but one. The question that's with this piercing is "Can i pull it?"

Was out with a friend and just up and decided to get my septum done. Ive heard nothing but horror stories about it. Well i wasnt nervouse at all nore was i scared. It was great, the piercer said i was the first person that hadnt felt pain or had tears from it. Its been 4 days since i got it and i have very minimal pain. Definately my favorite of all piercings.

This is probably the most painful on the whole body if you want to say anything , but it's really not that bad - trust me go for it !

this is one ba-dass pircing!it dosent hurt, but for some wierd reason it activates the tear glands.when i got it done i didint feel anything but my tear glands opened and stayed that way for about 15min after, witch was kind of wierd cuz i needed to go somewere and had to wait to drive.ANYWAY the pircing ROCKS and if u want the looks to come pouring on GET ONE.-------rOcK oN!!!

I just got my septum pierced last night and it was very awkward. The pain wasn't like any of my other piercings. Instead of a sharp pain it was more like an immense pressure. My septum was a bit hard to pierce and my piercer had to press extremely hard to get it through but it's perfectly straight and it looks great. The pain was less than expected and for 10 seconds of pain, it was well worth it.

I was more nervous about this piercing than anything I had ever done. And trust me, I've had more than a few body modifications done ie. triple labret, 5/8" lobes, nipples, lorum (self pierced at the tattoo/piercing shop Iwork in,) left arm is completely sleeved, the right arm is about 50% into a full sleeve, hands, knuckles, neck, back, calves...all tattooed as well. With all of those experienes w/ body mods I don't really know why I was so worked up about getting my septum done.
