i had my hood pierced two days ago and i LOVE IT! it looks great i went to wonderful place called extreme tatooing in lorain ohio and it was a great, clean and a professional place!!! it hurt like hell when it was done but after that it feels great!!! i would say get one if your thinking about it
After thinking and researching all the materials about getting my hood pierced, I finally done it today. Although I couldn't go with a vertical one I went with a hortizontal one. I was so nervous about the pain and all of that, but the pain wasn't bad at all just a little prick and it was done. To me the worse part of all of it is having to get undressed from the waist done and having someone that you don't know and isn't a person with a medical degree, looking at that region of your body, but apparently I dealt with that.
Well..after months of borwsing the net and Tribalectic, I decided to get my VCH. Well I got it done Saturday after work..and it looks great. I went to Ms Naturals in Hagerstown MD and she was wonderful. "Ms Natural" is wonderful-(she did my belly button, and she gauged my ears a couple months ago.)she took her time, made sure I would be a good candidate for the piercing..and bam! it was over. I will say that it did hurt a bit..but only for like 3 seconds. My only other issue is that I have some bleeding..but other than that I love it
.
I finally decided to make the bold move and get my hood pierced! My husband and I had been talking about it for a while. So we finally decided to head on up to Kaleidoscope in Springfield Missouri, even though it's over an hour away it's totally worth it! Cleanest and best studio around! I was so nervous but I was relieved to see Liz was piercing that day!
**This is going to be long, but I want to be as detailed and possible.**
It's funny that it's finally my turn to write my own 'experience' story; after religiously reading all of YOUR stories over and over again. So, for the past 4 months i've been intensively researching all I needed to know on VCH piercing. I kept saying to myself, 'I'll get it on the last day of summer' (thinking it'd be the best time to get it when it was still relatively warm outside so I could wear a dress; but nearing to the end of swim-season so I would not be tempted) ..
I had thought about this piercing before, but that was the extent of it. I had never really thought about seriously getting it done. I knew someone that had it done and she showed it to me one night and I thought it looked really nice. I showed her my nipple piercings and we decided that we were gonna go get the piercing the other one had one of these days and that was basically the end of the conversation. I saw her a few times after this conversation, but we never talked about it again until I e-mailed her one day saying I was still game if she was.
On August 6th I finally went to my piercer to get my vertical clitoral hood piercing. I had been wanting this piercing for quite a while and read many of the experiences and photos posted here at tribalectic. Almost every experience I read said that as far as pain goes the vch was just a sharp intense pinch and then it's over. I can finally say this is exactly what it's like. I went to my favorite piercer.
If you live in North Carolina, go see Seth at (pro-gress) Body Piercing in Raleigh. Not sure if it's ok to post a link, but here goes: http://www.myspace.com/progresspiercing I'm not affiliated with, nor do I know any of the owners of the studio personally.
I had long wanted a genital piercing. Unfortunately, I was a heavy monthly bleeder which was too much to deal with as was, much less with a piercing. But necessary surgery fixed that issue and I was free to do as I please.
Experience... I did a lot of research on it and read one comment where a woman had went through the Association of Profesional Piercers to find a shop, so I did the same. I found 3 in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area. Randy Adams in Ft Worth, Taboo Tattoos and Trilogy Obscurities in Dallas. I had called Randy Adams and I spoke with the girl who does the piercings. I felt like I was waisting her time asking questions so decided to go elsewhere. I spoke with Tim from Taboo Tattoos and he was very professional yet laid back and I liked that so I went the same night to see him, July 24th, 09.
