Considering I have an industrial, snug, rook, and my tongue pierced... this piercing was not bad at all. The only part that stung a little was when she left the needle in there to get the jewelry. Other than that... cleaning was a little painful, but I slept on it the very first night. I would recommend this to anyone that is considering it... although make sure you tell them EXACTLY where you want it. She kind of decided where to place it in my ear and I wasn't too thrilled with where she put it. Any questions about any of my piercings... just email me!
Ok this piercing is the best of all my piercings so far.. didnt hurt at all! I have had it done for about 2 months now n its sore every now and then seems the healing process can be months long or even up to a year!.. but i say if u wanna get it done DO IT!! its worth it!! xo
Well, a little over a week ago, I decided to finish off my ear project with something really different, something almost no one else has. That's when I stumbled upon a picture of someone with a labret stud right in the middle of their upper ear...you know, right through the "bump." The website this picture was on called it an outer conch, and I fell in love with it. I had never seen anyone with this type of piercing before, so I knew it was the one for me. When I got it done, my piercer said it was a custom type of piercing, so he took a picture of it for his shop's photo gallery.
I am all about unique ear piercings, and I thought the conch was pretty neat, and after a lot of thinking (I mean, it goes right through your ear shell!!), I got up the courage to get it done. Had it done at 14 gauge, and after the piercer put the needle through, I almost laughed at myself for being so nervous about it. It hardly hurt at all, and healing went great. Absolutely love the piercing.Go for it!
i wasn'y supposed to get any more piercings until i turned eighteen, but my grandma came up to visit and wanted to get our ears pierced together. so i was allowed one more. i went to my trusty piercing shop and talked to them about getting it done; prices, placing, ring or a barbell, and so on. they said it usually heals better with a barbell so i went for that, it looks more comfortable anyways. they took me into the room and got everuthing ready while i was asking questions and doing side glances at my naked conch.
I was looking at Outer Conch piercings on here a long time ago and I decided that I really liked the way they looked. After thinking it over for a little while I finally told myself that I was going to get it done.. One problem with that, I didn't have enough money.. Or a way to get more. So, I bought a self-piercing 16g hoop and did it myself. It didn't hurt at first, but each day I tightened it the pain got worse. It wasn't an extreme pain.. I could bare it. It was just a little uncomfortable. After about a week the ring was completely through and it started to heal.
I went to Twisted Dragon tattoo parlour with the intent of getting a rook. The two men who were working there told me that it was one of the most annoying piercings, it took forever to heal and that it was hard to change. One mentioned that he had just gotten his conch done a month ago and that it was already healed, so I took a look at it. I liked it rather well and decided to get it.I did all the paperwork and then went into the back room where he pierced me.
-Two outer conch orbitals done the same day.-Done with 4 rings to allow for proper aftercare.-14 gauge.-Right ear bled a lot more than left ear.-Not too bad pain wise.
It didn't hurt at first. The first hole was fine,it was the second hole that hurt. Towards the end, when the biggest part of the needlewent through. It took a few pushes, but it got through. When the jewelry was being put in it hurt, but only for a second. I would definetly would recommend getting this piercing. It's worth it!
Haha...this is a fun one...Well, to start out with my friend Tiffany had our friend Tara peirce her conch for her. Well, I decieded I wanted mine done, and Tiffany offered to do it. So I grabbed a pair of new earrings I have from Sallys Beauty Shop that are made for a peircing gun, so they are sharp, and we go over to Tiffanys older sisters house. Tiffanys older sister, Tabitha, talked me into letting her do it, because every hole in her ear she'd done herself (and she has 9 total) and Tiffanys never done anything.
