OMG!!!! Got the girls pierced,I must say it was an experience. I went to my usual piercer Rick at Silver Dollar tattoos and body piercings in Griffin, Ga....I was nervous as hell at first but when I got to the room where the piercing was going to take place I felt a little at ease and Rick is so professional and makes me feel at ease....the first one hurt but not nearly as much as I expected,it bleed quite a bit,I normally bleed 10 to 15 minutes after a pieecing but this time when he put the jewelry in andscrewed the ball on it started to leak...the second(right) one was tthe BITCH!!!
I have been toying around with the idea of getting all sorts of piercings, a normal lobe piercing, nose and even nipple for many years. But I didn't have the guts to do any. So one day I asked my friend who recently got hers done to recommend me to a reliable place; the peircer has been there for 15 years so I did think she was very trustworthy.
When I got there she asked me if I have been a previous client of hers, and she told me that she used a spray to numb the nipple.
Have enjoyed reading all the useful information on here and seeing everyones supportive responses so thought I'd post mine. Have a couple of piercings;nose, rook, tragus ear etc and some retired ones navel and tongue and woke up today with the urge to bet my nipple pierced. After googlingg it decided not to bother with what anyone else thought and off I went. Went I the same place that has done all my piercings and was seen my a very nice lady who happily pierced my left nipple. Not going to lie, it hurt but I sort of enjoyed it too!
So I mustered up the courage to call a local tattoo studio this morning to ask about nipple piercings. It's not a studio that I know well for piercings but the owner did one of my tattoos about 5 years ago and he turned out to be the piercer so I booked a time and went in. Apart from a serious lack of discretion (when I spoke to the woman at the desk she shouted across a room packed with workers and clients that the 12:00 nipple piercing had arrived) I felt quite comfortable.
So I finally got something other than my lobes pierced!! Had an appointment with Elayne Angel during her visit to Infinite Body Studio in Philly on 11/14/13 to see if she could pierce my VCH. Elayne is amazing, and although she could've pierced my VCH, she didn't think it would be sturdy enough for me, so we decided to do my nipples instead.
I had decided a while ago that if I ever got up the courage to pierce my nipples, then I would do both. I'm just too anal to only have one. Elayne prepped me with iodine, then marked me up.
This was really more of an impulse piercing for me. I used a very reputable piercer in my town who had done both my tragus and septum piercings the month before. So, I had no issue with undressing in front of him, and we made small talk like we normally do. This is my 27th piercing (retired 17 of those), and it was by far the most painful. Everything- from the clamps, the needle, and putting jewelry in- was pure torture. I think I made the right decision in getting both nipples done at the same time because I could have easily never come back for the second.
Healing hasnt been too bad, I am now able to sleep without a bra which is great cause my breasts where getting sore wearing a bra all of the time, and with them being rather large of course it it was nice to let them breathe I have a simple concern though, one of the holes on my right nipple, the left side, became a bit dry, now theres red around the hole, not really sore or anything it bleeds a little bit but not very often, I stopped doing 2 soaks for 10 mins each with 1/4 of salt in an 8 oz glass and started doing 5 mins each with 1/8 of salt in a 8 oz glass instead, and sta
I finally did it even though one friend was suppose to come with me this evening and couldn't...so I asked another friend and she said once she got the car from her boyfriend...well, she couldn't make it as her boyfriend was stuck at work. So I ended up flying solo. It took me a while to get myself to the tattoo/piercing place. I bit the bullet and jumped right in.
Met the piercer they a lot of people suggest. He was pleased I did a bit of homework before hand (watching videos, etc). He explained everything thoroughly which was awesome as I need things to be explained that way.
I love my new nipple Piercings.. I had a great experince!!After reading Lots of experinces here I decided I was going to get it done, so yesterday I went to a shop where a friend of mine works, he was very professional and very quick!!! It hurt a bit but my Triple Forward Helix hurt much more, and throbbed more, I did however got a little dizzy, but he have me some juice and I was fine! It throbbed a bit but nothing that a little pain killers cant fix! They are not red or too swollen, bleeding a tiny tiny bit!
If I'm being honest, I would say that my preoccupation with my nipples began when I was a young teenager. I picked up a Cosmopolitan magazine that a previous vacationer had tossed aside at a condo at the beach and read articles that my uber-conservative parents would have never allowed into our house. My nipples were supposed to be erogenous zones, so said Cosmo, yet they weren't. Considering this, I gave them small pinches and tugs and felt...well...nothing.
