I LOVE THIS PIERCING! It's so cute and petite and so out of the way
But nowadays does get in the way when I put earphomes in; but that's a small price to pay.
One of my Ex best mates had his tragus done and I loved it; he looked very cute with it and I decided I wanted to copy him!
I got mine done at Freedom Tattoos in Ipswich, and my piercist was lovely. This was my first needle piercing in the ear and I had no idea what to expect; it is an extremely thick bit of... whatever.
I have done both of my tragus piercings myself (I know, I shouldn't have, but I did nonetheless). The first I did was my right ear and it really didn't hurt that much, I felt some slight pain and lots of pressure of course, heard a pop and I was done. The second (done a good 7 months later) was a bit trickier. I didn't pierce it completely straight, but I still like it. This one was a bit more painful, most likely because I did it a little bit slower, but was definitely worth it. (P.S. - The one in the picture is my left ear)
I got my tragus done on my left ear about a year ago. The actual piercing didn't hurt at all, it felt like when you squish your face together (lol). While I was heading to the store, I kept on pinching it just to see how it would feel, because like always, I get a little nervous before a piercing. All and all a good experience, aftercare was a breeze, a little bit of swelling but nothing too too tolerable, just be careful not to hit it, after you do it once, you will always remember not to do it again.
Hmm, this was an interesting one that I actually thought about and I was game about getting it done. I went with two others and it was a cool experience... I laid down and I was in the zone... So he pushed and it was fine, but the pressure was kinda intense... I rate it a 6 or 7 out of ten, my nipples were probably an 8 or 9 and they aren't even sensitive, grrrr...
Lol, but anywhoo, it was really nice, but I had to take it out because it started to get a bump above it...
When: May 10, 2008
Where: Silver on the Mount; Hollywood, Florida
Piercing: Left Tragus
A tragus piercing is kind of a peek-a-boo
piercing for me. Its unassuming. Following
my very positive experience with Vince at
Silver on the Mount with my nipples, I decided
to stick with a good thing.
Saturday afternoon rolled around, I drove
over to Silver at the Mount and made my
request. Filled out the paperwork, my wait was for
maybe 10-15 minutes. This is one of the few
piercings, I have been jittery nervous about.
Whether this was based on the sound I thought
I had my tragus pierced about 10 years ago now when I was 17 I planned on getting my tongue done but my mum werent to happy so I said ok my lip she didnt like that either so I thought I would get my tragus pierced.
This was the 1st unusual ear piercing I had just had 5 standard lobes and a few upper cartilage piercings
I have had my tragus for a little over a year, but it was pierced incredibly far outward for a tragus piercing, so I've been debating for a while to get a horizontal double farther inward. Got bored and had the money so I decided to go ahead and get that along with another piercing.
i self pierced my tragus on my left ear last night. I used a safety pin, just pushed it through, didn't hurt at all, But it was really long and i couldn't close it so i took it out, and re-pierced it with another safety pin, that hurt a little bit, then that wouldn't close either so i took it out and pushed a earring post through, THAT HURT! with 2 pops! at first pop it was loud and scared me lol like. ......... POP! then more pushing POP! and it was through. it looks soo cute and now i have 2 matching traguses! im doing my conch next,
go for it traguses really don't hurt at all!
I'd wanted my tragus pierced for years, but was (naively) put off by the using of a needle. Anyway, my mate wanted a tattoo doing and she agreed to finally get it done if I got my tragus done. Deal. I didn't know of any piercers in the local area, so trawled the yellow pages until we found one that could fit in both the tattoo and the piercing - probably not the best sign.
