this piercing felt similar to my toung web, jsut the insetion of the barbell and balls was easier to do. it just feels like a pinch...well not even it really feels like nothing. but its a really fun piercing!!! any questions just email me or something

i got my scrum pierced for the third time about 2 weeks ago. the piercing itself doesn't hurt at all. it just feels odd afterwards. and smokers beware. every time i ate, or smoked i had to rinse out with biotene. sometimes it gets a little sore, but it's all godd after i rinse out with mouthwash. also, don't wear a barbell for long, bc it makes an indention in your gums. also the rings make an indention between your two front teeth. so watch out. only get it if you totally want it. it IS a conversation piece.

I just got my lip web pierced today, and it was a little intense. I had my piercer go a little higher so it wouldn't be as obvious, and it got into some sensitive tissue. But as long as I have someone's attention, I would like to strongly advocate going to a professional piercer. It is so dangerous to pierce yourself or have a friend do it. I work at a local piercing shop, and we see people permanently scarred from self-piercing. Please just be aware of the serious infection and rist to your body you are creating by piercing yourself.

First things first.. this piercing grows out, so dont get too attatched..My trusted piercer and also beloved cousin Martyn pierced me, i didnt take anything to numb the pain, so i thought it would be pretty sore. It only took about 15 mins to do, but it is a little awkward. There was no blood, and it only stung for a couple of seconds. smiling is a bit of a problem for the first couple of hours, and you soon get used to the strange feeling. nothing to it, but I wouldnt pay a great deal of cash for it, because it will only last about 3 months.

My lip web (or frenum as we call it in England) was my absolute favorite piercing. It didn't hurt to pierce, and it healed in a week or less. It was adorable- I had a ring with a pink gem in it. Then came some trouble- at times it would be really sore and painful, especially in the mornings, and I continued to clean it to ensure that everything was clean and not infected. Then one day it simply dropped out. It had grown out- and now I have a split frenum The piercing lasted only three months. Now I'm getting my tongue web done...

In England this piercing is called a frenum piercing. I played on a basketball team when I got it pierced and was forced to wear a barbell in it, as rules state that no jewellery is allowed in during basketball games (it was in, they just couldn't see it). I played numerous games with it in, and had no problems. However, the night of the final tournament I was at the organized 'dance' for it, and as I was running to get a drink some guy stepped back and accidentally elbowed me in the face, right where my frenum was. It bled a little, and was sore, but I figured it was okay.
