Ahhhh.I recently got my Rook done. The inner part of you're ear that is all cartlige. Fun fun fun. As I recently got my nipple pierced too I would say that my nipple hurt more. But this is hurting more after right now. After about 3 hours after getting it done it is still burning slightly. But once you go and do something without thinking about it you should be fine. Oh and this piercing does bleed the most. Very fun piercing. I went to another store just across from where I got my nipple done. Cost 65SNot bad. The chick that did it was very nice to me.
i went last saturday to get my industrial done. i had seen someone with it and i thought it looked really cute and i wanted something not as common as what everyone else has. i went to the same piercing/tattoo place that i used to get my other piercings and i had the same girl who had done my cartlidge. i had to wait for a little while but i was really nervous because i had heard that it was going to hurt reli bad and sometimes they bleed. when it was my turn i went into the room and watched her while she cleaned off the chair and steralized everything got out a needle and the ring.
My newest addition!
It hurt alot when i got it... but it was really worth it.... I got really mad though cause It just grew out last week and i didnt even have it for a month!!! so much for the pain eh??!!
I've wanted my Rook done for about 4 years now, and my mom has always said no, after my 7th. And since I'm only 16, I can't get it done w/o her permissionBut the other day I decided I was finally going to do it.The whole day my friends and I had been talking about piercings, and it just really got me in the mood to do it myself.I've pierced my ears before but when I do cartilage, I like to ice for just a minute or so.And after that I just had my piercing earring from past piercings, and poked it through.I didn't feel anything, and my ear wasn't that numb.
I had my rook done about four months ago. I thought that the rook is one of the cutest piercings and I wanted to try out a new piercer. I called ahead and the shop told me to come in. They were very busy and I got lost in the crowd because I didn't speak up. When I finally did teh piercer was about to leave. He stayed to pierce me and told me to always talk to someone just to let them know I am there. That made sense seeing there was over 20 people in there that night. Lupe at Unique Ink in Jacksonville, NC was my piercer.
decided yesterday, that after months and months of wanting my rook pierced, that id book a time to get it done when i was in the next town where the piercing studio was, as i had a course to do in this town.anyways i arrived and met with jason, the piercer, who ive been too 3 times before ( 2 piercings and 1 tattoo) and showed him where i wanted to get pierced. he said he could do it. so i chose which piece of jewellery i wanted and i chose a curved barbell.i sat in the chair whilst jason cleaned my ear and explained what he would do.
This piercing hurts out of all my piercings. I have my tragus pierced ( it was just a pinch), my navel (which didnt hurt at all), my lip ( which also didnt hurt at all), my tongue and nose. The rook hurts the most. You can actually feel the needle pop threw your skin. I had this piercing for about 6 months now and it still hasnt healed. But i was told it takes about 2months-a year to heal. Even this is my coolest piercing and i love it.. it is the most painful one!IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT THE ROOK AND THE OTHER PIERCINGS I HAVE JUST EMAIL ME!
I had heard this piercing would hurt, possibly even more than industrial, so I was a tiny bit worried. I've had over 20 piercings over the past three years so I mostly know that how you breathe makes the biggest difference. When I got my first few piercings I would get so scared I'd pass out, throw up, etc. Just don't get worked up and it will never hurt if you control your breathing. Thats about it. The rook was really easy. Just a little sharp pain for virtually one second, then nothing. A little sore afterwards.
OK... I have an industrial, and I didn't think getting that pierced hurt that bad. So I thought getting a rook would hurt less, but I was wrong. The only thing that hurt bad was when my piercer had to slide the jewelry through. The piercing itself wasn't painful. It has been two weeks, and it has healed perfectly. I can sleep on it and everything. If you are thinking about getting this, GET IT! The little bit of pain is DEFINITELY WORTH IT! If you have any questions about this or an industrial, email me!
