I just reciently pierced my rook. I did it myself. I do all my ear piercings by myself, i think that paying like 30 bucks to get your ear pierced is stupid. I have pierced my ears so many times that it doesn't even hurt to pierce them any more. But I only have 4 on my ear lobe and one helix, and of course my rook. I just hope I didn't damage my ears in any way. I dont think so. I keep them clean and
. Aight im out..
A few months ago, I decided to get my tongue pierced. Imagine how bummed I was when after a month of research, the piercer told me he couldn't do it (the veins in my tongue are too close to the center). So, ever since then, I've been trying to decide what else I could do. I didn't want a belly ring or facial piercings or anything... so, I was pretty much limited to me ears. I want my tragus pierced, but that was kind of common, so I decided I wanted something a little less common first.
Well, since I only Had 4 lobe piecings, and one cartilage piercings, I knew I wanted another piercing, but this one had to be unusual. For about a month and a half I searched through pictures of different ear piercings. When I came across the rook piercing, I was in love with it. The only problem was that I was 12 at the time. So I talked it over with my parents, and FINALLY they said yes. When the "big day" came, I was very ready and couldn't wait. When we got there, we had to fill out and sign some papers. Finally He led me to the "poking room" as they like to call it.
I decided that I needed another ear piercing, and after looking over alot of pics, I decided on getting my rook done. So I read the experiences and just knew it was going to hurt like you know what, but it didn't. It went in, but it wasn't a OMG pain, just a dull pain. I couldn't even feel it after it was done, where when I got my helix done it really hurt alot afterward. I really like the way it looks and can't wait until it heals so I can put different jewelry in. If you are in Glasgow I would go to John at Nirvana. He is great!!!
Yeah i got my rook done about a week ago. it didnt hurt to bad. but after a few days it got sore. it was weird bc i have never had this new peircer do it...but i like it
I just got my rook pierced 2 days ago..I didn't know what to expect as the only other different peircing I have is my tragus and that wasn't too bad. My piercer is pretty friendly, very good and he did my other piercing so fast that I wasn't too worried this time around. The weather was pretty cold that day so when I got to the place I was so cold I was shaking, not from nerves. He had to take about 10 min to set up so I had time to warm up a bit before it actually happened..I didn't want to be shaking still as he did the piercing!
my boyfriend is a piercer, and we were bored one night...he started playing with my rook and asked if he could pierce it. we discussed it, and he did it, it didn't hurt, just about as much as my tragus...which wasn't alot. but the healing does kinda suck sometimes. if it gets hit a certain way, it hurts like a bitch. but it's only like a month old, so i'm excited about it healing. i'd definitely recommend getting it done
I went to Epic Tattoo and Piercings in Fort Worth, Texas on Beach St. and they come highly recommended. The piercer took her sweet, sweet time examining my ear trying to figure out what the best angle to go at it was. Apparently my ear is kind of small and was difficult to work with.
I got my rook done for my 20th birthday in September. I was so excited because I just loved how cute it was. The only problem was that today it fell out! I had noticed that the skin was getting thinner and thinner and finally today it had migrated all the way out!! I was a good piercing while it lasted but it sucks now that it's gone. so think about it first.
After my 18th birthday I decided the first thing I wanted to do was get a piercing and so I decided on a rook because I had been eyeing it for a few years. I found a very reputable body piercing place and went in to do it. Although I had wanted it for a while and looked up alot of info on it, I still felt as though I was doing it on a whim. I went in and didn't actually start to get nervous until I had to fill out the consent form. Before I knew it I was in the chair with the needle to my ear.
