So finally a pic or two of my friends lorum. I think it turned out fairly nice, I cared for that thing from day one making sure it healed up nicely. The skin around the holes is looking nice, there's no gunk build up any more and it hasn't leaked in weeks. We are looking to get some different jewlery for it now but there's just so much to pick from lol. I'm glad he's happy with it as am i. My husband's isn't fairing as good sadly. Yes caring for it and he's not that great at it. This seems to be one of them piercings your always playing with and messing with it.
I was reminded about a month ago by my ex girlfriends daughter that I had promised her a year ago that I'd take her to get her nostril pierced if she still wanted it when she turned 18. Fair enough, went in and came out without issue... Sort of... I headed off to lunch and then decided I needed to go back and get poked too. My piercer and I have been talking about putting my apadravya back in at 6g, but I've still not summoned the courage to go through that again. So he did the lorum in 6g and I was off. It wasn't particularly unpleasant as he uses a little lidocaine.
Went to my piercer´s for a control of my Loring yesterday, and as everything is healing well, I had a Hafada pierced underneath right away. To avoid one round of stretching, I had a 1.5 mm gauge round captive ring inserted straight from the beginning (instead of a 1 mm.).
My piercer gave me a huge anesthesia, so, apart from the injection needle, I literally felt nothing of the piercing itself. It bled a little, just a drop or so, but it looked gorgeous from the beginning, as the ring is wider than my Lorum (2 cm. against 1.5 cm.
The other day, when I visited my piercer for my free lorum (after 5 piercings, the 6th is free), he was busy and I didn't want to wait, so I went home and consoled myself stretching two of my guiches to 1 gauge and my two lorums to 2 gauge, using two screw-on ball rings from my guiches. A couple of days later, I couldn't get to work due to a disaster-like situation, so I went back to my piercing shop ready for three piercing. No problem--and walked out a few slightly painful minutes later with three new lorums.
This is the way I treat my newly stretched Lorum: comfortably leaning back, my feet on a chair, soaking my piercing with chamomile-and-seasalt solution for about 30 minutes, twice a day. A fascinating book against boredom, and a cool beer do the rest to spend the time.
Two days after the stretching, the light swelling has already gone back, there´s no pain, no hindrance in my movements, just the usual amount of crusties. Can hardly wait till I´m ready for the next stretching, and the next pair of Lorums below.
Went to my Piercer´s yesterday, to undergo my first stretching, from approx. 1 mm thick ring to approx. 1.5 mm. I knew that it was going to hurt, but as he stuck that pin into the hole and started stretching, it hurt like hell, so much that he had to give me an anesthesia.
After that, I still felt some pain, but I could stand it. The rest went fast. I bled a little, but no big deal, just a drop or so. As he had put in my new ring and cleaned up, I looked down at myself, and was real happy with the result.
I finally did it.
After years of wanting have a scrotal ladder started, yesterday Wednesday march 23rd 2016, I got my lorum piercing done.
In a pain scale of 1 to 10, it barely registered a 2.
I was able indeed, to feel the needle going thru my skin easily.
Bleeding was minimal. No bothers nor discomforts so far.
Yesterday, i finally got my first Lorum. I was debating about getting this one vs a PA. Ultimately I ended up going with the Lorum (which was love at first prick).
I had a wonderful experience. I went to the best shop in town where they had the most experience with these types of piercings. When I entered the shop I was greeted with open arms, which made me feel so much better about it because I was crazy nervous. I ended up talking to the piercer and he went above and beyond explaining the piercing, healing process, and after care.
I finally got my first Lorum yesterday morning. Went to the only experienced piercing studio in the neighbourhood: K-OZ in Ibarra/Ecuador. After some consulting, he could do the job almost immediately. I´d already decided that I wanted a round captive bead ring.
So we went into the piercing room. I still was a little nervous and sweating.
I was pleasantly surprised when I calculated it has been almost two years (Christmas 2013) since I last got pierced (3 hafadas if you wanna know). They didn't last, and as a I had a failed hafada before that, I came to the conclusion that scrotals just aren't meant to be there and they do have a high rejection rate, so it's all par for the course.
Fast forward two years and for about a month now I've been getting twitches whenever I've seen lorums.
