Got it done on Friday at a 10g with a 20mm BCR. Initial piercing didn't hurt too much, less of an "OUCH!" and more of a "woah that just happened". Made the mistake of not keeping everything wrapped and bled lots in the middle of the night. Otherwise, kept any kind of Disprin out of my system, keeping on fluids with lots of water and kept lots of sanitary pads and toilet paper in my undies. To sleep I wrap it up in gauze and put a glove over it with a hair tie at the base.
It's Sunday now and it's healing beautifully, peeing is quite easy and I've had no stinging when I do it.
I decided to take my 4g PA out a little while ago and really didn't miss it. I basically forgot that I ever had one and then a couple of weeks ago I wondered if the hole had closed up and I tried getting my original 10g ring through again.
I had to search for ages for a 12 or 14g ring with the a large enough circumference. I finally found one and with a bit of elbow grease and grease I managed to push it through. WOOHOO!
But as I'm naturally very impatient I wanted to stretch it again.
So the piercing bug caught me..when I first got my frenum about 6 weeks ago, I was pretty adamant I would never get a PA.
But how that all changed. I went in to buy some new jewellery for my lorum and frenum, and ended up getting my PA while I was there ha!
The procedure itself was hardly painful. (Stretching my frenum was 10 times more painful though.
The insertion tube didn't hurt at all, as my piercer lubed my urethra, and a short pinch later, I was all done. I was pierced at a 10GA, and immediately tapered up to a 8GA CBR.
I've wanted a genital piercing for about 3 years now. I originally thought that I would get a frenum because I thought that a PA would have been way too painful, and someone I knew that had a frenum said that it barely hurt at all. However, about 2 months ago, I decided that the pain didn't matter because it will only hurt for a few seconds. I decided to get a PA . I'm 19, a freshman in college, and also working a lot so I waited until I went on break for the summer.
So finally today I bit the bullet and got a PA. It's something I'd been thinking about for a few weeks and plucked up the courage to go for it when a local shop near where I work was looking for volunteers for a trainee piercer for their new studio.
Was taken through the process along with the trainee and everything went as expected... Thanks to you all for that bit. Can never express how much easier it was after lurking around here for a few weeks!
Was pierced with a 2.4mm needle and had a whopping 8g CBR put in...
I recently took the plunge and finally got pierced! I had been thinking about getting a PA done for my 21st birthday, but when that came around, I wasn't totally sure about it, so I held off. On the 8th, I turned 22, and after doing extensive research and putting a lot of thought into it, I decided that this was the year!
I set an appointment for the 7th, at Ritual Evolution Piercing Studio in Ashland, Oregon. I was definitely pretty nervous, but also really pumped for it. My piercer, Chari, was amazing and welcoming.
I've wanted to join you for over 20 years but never quite got the nerve (beyond one fairly intoxicated play piercing session in 1997 ). I'd been thinking about it again and browsing here, and then, about 6 weeks ago, I bought Elayne Angel's Piercing Bible and started making plans.
I finally took the plunge two days ago and chose Purity Body Arts (formerly Anomaly) in Houma, LA www.puritybodyarts.com
I went in at opening time to avoid the wait and hit it off right away with Aaron, who sports some really neat ear and facial piercings.
I got my PA done at Evan's Second Skin in Commerce, GA. I got it done by Jolene. I love this shop everyone there has at least 5 years experience, is professional, and VERY thorough in what they know. To everyone who says this wasn't that painful, I call so much BS. It was very painful. Jolene free hands it in a way that the piercing would miss the urethra. However, she did nick the urethra anyway by accident. But it's fine. Peeing the first time stung. It cost me 75$. They had a Friday the 13th special, all piercings 50% off. Either way it was a great experience.
