I've always wanted a PA but my piercer recommended a frenum 6 months ago. My wife has enjoyed that but I wanted the combo. I got my PA 12 days ago and it's currently a 12 guage. I'd like to stretch my PA to an 8ga ASAP and then stretch it to 4ga. The frenum was my first and bled quite a bit. The PA didn't bleed but it's still tender.
So, I was standing in the break room at work yesterday and it felt like something fell out of the inside of my pocket and hit the ground. I thought it was kind of strange, but then I looked down and one of the balls on my horseshoe had fallen off and my p.a. fell out and landed right on the ground!!! LOL - there was nobody in the break room at the time, so I hurriedly picked it up, ran to the bathroom, cleaned it off and put it back in. I had no idea the balls could come loose so easily.
I've wanted a PA for over 20 years. I finally got it done tonight. I don't have any pictures yet.
I got it done at Metamorphisis in Broad Ripple (Indianapolis, IN). Kristin did a wonderful job. I had read a lot about people not liking the placement of their piercing. Kristin marked where she was going to place it. She then had me look at it with a mirror. She marked exactly where I envisioned.
It did hurt. It hurt a lot. But only momentarily. Twice. Once for the piercing. Once for the insertion of the jewelry. It was over very quickly and so was the pain.
It looks great.
Like everyone else here Ive wanted a pa for a long time. I could just never convince myself to get it done.
While on vacation in Denver i decide there was no reason to wait any longer so i decided to go get it done. I ended up going to Sol Tribe and James was my piercer. We started talking about what jewelry i wanted and told him i wanted a CBR and he said that should be do-able. Then he asked my what gauge and i had no idea. He said he dosent like to go smaller than a 10 gauge. After looking at it i decide to do an 8 gauge. He ended up picking the 8ga 5/8 CBR.
I am a brand new member of the p.a. family! I got my p.a. a week and a half ago. I thought it was a 10 gauge but I have since ordered to 8 gauge horseshoes and they are both the same size as the one I had so I guess I started with an 8. I just swapped out my pressure fit ring with a new 8 gauge horseshoe tonight and I love it way more. For one thing, the diameter is .88 so it is bigger in circumference than my old one which really pulled my skin when I would get erect due to the stretching inside my head. Anyway, the new horseshoe feels so much better.
I'm barely into my 3rd week, and things could not possibly have gone better! My 8g x 5/8" circular BB is juggling freely in the piercing, no discomfort of any kind at any time (and I'm a very active man). In fact as of several days ago, I have to touch it to be reassured that it's still there. I Previously wore a heavy glanz ring for decades, and miss the weight and constant "presence". Wish it was compatible someway with my PA, but am already impatient to stretch the next step.
