I just came back from Dead Anchor Tattoo in Madison, WI for my first piercing in seven months. Ever since I saw it online, I fell in love with it, especially knowing how unique of a location it is.
It's the first part of a future column of spinal dermals, being the only piercing I now have on my backside. Within five minutes of the initial stab of the needle, it was beginning to swell, so I went home and iced it for forty minutes.
So, after years of never even contemplating mutilating my body with surgical steel I have spent the last few months gaining quite a collection! And as I hold you Tribers responsible it's only fair I share the experience. You seemed so responsive the last updates you've only got yourself to blame.
I was at work HO which happens to be in Manchester (where my piercer is). Happy coincidence. Meetings finished early so I found myself at a loose end. Thirty minutes later I had my first pubic piercing. And instantly loved it.
After several months of toying with the idea of giving myself a piercing, last night I actually did it. A great deal of research went into this first piercing - a vertical pubic piercing. Everyone says these have a fair chance of migration/rejection but we'll see. I used a 12 gauge 3/4" curved barbell. The bottom is about 1/8" above the base of the penis. I had everything in place, needle, clamp, gloves, surgical scrub, provine wipes and so on. The biggest surprise was that it was essentially painless!
I do surface piecings all the time, nothing new for me. Always on my wrist or my arm somewhere so people can see em'. I do a bunch, it freaks people out. But I always end up taking them out. My friends say I should do my nape, but I cant because it'd get tangled in my dreads. It doesnt hurt either, I have somewhat of a pain tolerance whe it comes to needles. I LOVE NEEDLES
Right Forearm Surface 14ga.
About 3 weeks ago I had gotten my neck or called nape pierced. When I first went into my work (Unique Tattooing) where I work as cutomer service, the piercer asked me if I wanted a piercing... Well of course not letting the chance slip past me, I accepted!
hey guys had the back of my neck done and it hurt so bad but the pain was worth it because it totally freaks people out. think im just a wimp because t hurt so much but already have 12 and love them all. feel free to get in touch if you want to ask me anything email me firstname.lastname@example.org
I got my nape pierced yesterday, had got my PA 2 months before so reconned I could handle the pain! I went in the day before to ask about it and ended up getting measured up as my piercer makes the surface bars himself to suit! Went for a 20mm PTFE surface bar as he has most sucess with them!
I was in one of my weird piercing moods, I'm really loving the corset, but I chose a sternum. It's not as long as I wanted it to be, but then I think about how I'm the only one around here with a sternum. I can't wait to show everyone. It have so much adrenaline because I don't want my parents to find out, and because it's amazing.
