I have been interested in piercing since I was 15 years old (I'm now 64) and first pierced my ears when I was 23. I liked wearing earrings so much that I decided to pierce my nipples the next year. Not knowing a lot about pierced nipples back then, I pierced them vertically and started wearing dangling ball and chain earrings in my nipples. After I got married, my wife convinced me that I would look better if I wore rings in my nipples and long dangling earrings in my ears, so she re-pierced my nipples horizontally so I could wear hoops in my nipples.
Almost 5 years ago I was dared to get my nipples pierced by my wife. After thinking about it for quite awhile & doing some research, I finally decided what the hell. I got both done at the same time (highly recommended). Hurt like hell & they stayed sore for quite awhile. Seemed like they took forever to heal, as I am pretty active. Each time I thought they were about healed, something would happen & they would flair up again. After about a year I decided to gauge up from 14 to 12 ga. Another year later I sized up to 10ga.
I had been thinking of having my nipps pierced for years. I had a girlfriend about 20 years ago that went to Gauntlet and had her tragus pierced, and that got me interested in body piercing. She and I had talked about both of us having our nipples done, but that never happened. Fast forward to a year ago. I went to the piercer, the same one my wife had gone to for her ears. I wanted rings, but he advised that I go with barbells for at least the initial healing period and switch later. He got me all prepped and warned me that I was about the feel the 'best' pain I had ever felt.

I started piercing when I was 12. I had to pull them for work since my Fire uniform caused them to bleed. Now, 18 years later, I'm repiercing. HALO in Phoenix, did a Fantastic job. Almost no blood.. certainly no pain and they feel f!#@ing great when I run or play Rugby. They went through old scar tissue and started with a 10g... Cant stop checking them out.. I'm planning on replaceing all 14 pieces every two weeks; they made it affordable and painless! Good Job!!
hey , bigger is better even if it means a little pain, ahd my right nipple stretched from a 10g to a 6g yesterday, looks and feeels so much better, soon to match my left which is a 4g, but i can fit 3 10 barbells in along side the 4g cbr that is there all the time. going up 2 gauges caused a bit of pain, not as much as when they were both pierced the second time, behind the original piercings, those m........ers hurt like a bi......... can't wait for the next stretching experience.
I'm a 51 year old professional. Recently, I thought it would be exciting to have a piercing that only my partner and I would know about. So, I went to Straight to the Point piercing studio in Portland, Oregon on a Monday evening. The piercer answered my questions and was a person that really put me at ease. Off went the shirt, the nipple was disinfected and the marks made. The actual piercing was intense - but short-lived. Deep breathing helped. After care seems to be easy. I can't believe the increased sensitivity!!
My nipple piercing was bar none the most painful piercing i have ever done. it hurt worse than the cartilage and lip combined, i think. i decided that i wanted to pierce both my nipples, on a whim. first, i tried to put ice on one to numb it, but i got pretty bored after about half a minute of holding a melting piece of ice to my chest. so i took what i thought was a well sterilized safety pin and stuck it through. it took quite a few tries, because it hurt.. and i mean hurt in a kicked-in-the-balls kind of way. so after the first one was succesfully in, i did the other.
I had an oppurtunity to get both of my nipples pierced for the price of one and decided (of course) to take it.So I went into one of the local tattoo/piercing places and filled out all the paperwork, payed the piercer, and waited for her to get ready. Once she called me in, I took my shirt off and listened to the now familiar speech that comes before all piercings about what is about to happen and what all the tools are for.She made two dots on either side of each nipples with a marker and asked if they looked ok, which they did.
I had both nipples pierced at the same time with a 16g and moved up to a 14g after 6 mos. I have nips, ears a genital piercings and the nipples were BY FAR the most painful to get. Vision white out for a couple seconds on each one... BUT the pain was just a few seconds and they were only very tender for a week. (Wearing and sleeping in a tight athletic Tshirt helped a LOT.)I have loved the way they look and they greatly, GREATLY enhance sensation of the nipples. Erogenous zone times ten! Well worth the moment of discomfort.
