About two months ago, I decided I was so close to an 0g for my PA that I would stretch the piercing to 0 g. I got a correct taper...lots of nerve and then slowly worked the taper through with a 1/2 curved barbell. It eventually went in, but I must say that it was not "pain free or blood free." There was a bit of bleed not much, but a bit. I also have to say I had a hell of a sweat going too...wow.
That jump from 2g to 0g is huge and to say that that is just a couple of millimeters.....wow.
48 year old whose wanted a PA since I first saw one on a bloke at the gym 15 years ago but always to afraid to break out and do something that might be a bit different. Big mistake. Went to the piercing studio in Toowoomba in April and made the appointment. The piercer talked for awhile about the process and the after care then took me into the room and told me to strip of the jeans and underwear. after carefully cleaning the glans she marked the spot and showed me that because of the way my penis is made that it would be slightly of centre.
Want to write my experience here because it was from readinll the support and stories here that made me decide to go for it and I did.
I had always wanted it done but its one of those things where you always imagine the very worst but in reality it is pretty painless and not a big ordeal at all so if like me you are thinking about it then " go for it"
I live in the UK and went to Dave Ross tattoo studio in Colchester.
The piercer " Sam " was brilliant and soon put me at ease.
I'm a 33 y/o straight man who's never had a piercing before - not even an earlobe. But for a long time I'd wanted a PA, just never got the nerve to do it.
Finally figured you only live once, if I don't do it now I never will. So after much online research I found the place with the best reputation in Houston (Taurian) and made an appointment. Just calling to say "I want to get a prince albert" was scary.
Anyway, about 2 hours ago I went and got it done. Byriah, the owner and lead piercer, was great and made me very comfortable during the whole procedure, answering all my questions.
I'm a 34 year old gay male living in Ferndale, MI (a suburb of Detroit). I've wanted a PA for my entire adult life. I don't know why I finally decided to go through with it, but I guess I was finally ready.
I read through the posts here on Tribalectic, as well as many other places. I spoke to people that I know, and people that I don't really know (online) about their PA experiences. I asked for advice and did a LOT of homework. I tend to do that when I'm exploring something potentially dangerous.
Booked in for my third, and probably last, PA stretching tomorrow with Tom of 'Punktured' in Brighton, UK to 4ga. Previouly went from 12g to 8g. Frankly I found the last stretching quite painful so I'm not wholly looking forward to this one- roughly 4 months later. No problem with it once done though. Once this is completed I'm aiming for a scrotal ladder of 7 rings and 3 bars along the shaft i.e. 11 genital peircings - that'll set the alarm bells rings at airport checks
My first PA was surprisingly painless, only the later stretching really hurt that much.
I've wanted a prince albert for as long as I could remember. I knew there was NO way I could "ask permission" from my parents and they don't normally give them unless you are over 18 anyway. So, on my 18th birthday, I got it done.
The woman showed me two common gauges, 10 and 12. She recommended the 10 so that was the one I went with. she led me back to the room and told me to take off my shorts and she looked at my penis. She marked where she thought was best and showed me and I agreed. xP She told me to lay flat on the table/chair thing and checked the placement once more.
after craving for it and thinking about doing it for about one year. today i finally did it!!!!
i must say it was almost no pain in the proces, except for the receiving tube insertion, wich i think cant be catalogue as "painfull", just felt weird! i didn´t feel the needle at all. before i realized i had my black titanium ring in place.
So, recently I got my PA. Been a little nervous. Its been a few weeks and it has healed up very well. So just recently my wife (who had just gotten a VCH) and I played for the very first time and I can say it went very well. I took sometime trying to get used to it and how to maneuver but all in all went great. It does take some getting used to and learning how to handle it, but over all a great addition to the bedroom fun. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is interested but unsure.
My wife likes the PA so much, I just ordered a new colored ring.
