It started as bordum one night in my room. I had been wanting a piercing for awhile now and I had started look on the internet, when I saw some septums and I was hooked I had to have one. Now I am only 17 so I couldnt get it profesionly done. I was sitting there one night with a sewing needle and an old 18 gauge Circular barbell.
I've had my septum pierced for about 5 months now. Out of all my piercings(I have 9 total), this is my favorite and was the least painful. The pinch of the clamps was more painful in an annoying way, then the needle going through. I havent had any major problems with it, aside from my 2 yo daughter waking me up by pulling on the jewelry the day after I got it done.
i thought my 14ga was rejecting because i felt scar tissue above the hole and since i was going to stretch anyway i got it repierced through the scar at 10ga. the piercing went fine but when it came time to close the ring he had trouble. his hand was shaking alittle which made me dizzy and see spots, this progressed until i passed out! when i came to i thought i was done so i stood up quikly(in embarrassment) and tried to leave only to go out again back into the chair. it was a pretty fun expirience, my first time passing out.
Well I went all the way up to Melbourne (Australia) to what is the best piercing studio in the country. Peter made me feel really relaxed and kept me talking. Then just went 'here we go' and it was done... Least painful piercing EVER. If you ever hear how much it hurts its because they got the cartilage pierced, if you feel under the cartilage you will find a nice little piece of skin that if you pinch a little bit with ur fingernails you will feel how much it hurts, lol.
The other day I went to get my septum pierced. The piercer was very friendly to me and he seemed like a pretty nice and experienced guy. He had me sit on a chair and explained to me where he was going to pierce and how much it could hurt. He cleaned out my nose and then he put the clamps on. They hurt in an uncomfortable way and they were on for around 30 seconds. That was definitly the worst part of the piercing. It didn't hurt more than the piercing, but for obvious reasons it was worse.
Ow. Ow Ow Ow Ow Ow. Most piercings are like BAM, done, he shoves a needle right through. Well, the complicated nature of that spot on the body required about 4 separates pushes through my nose, allowing me to savor every glorious second of the feeling of the flesh being torn asunder. Ow. But, actually, it was quite enjoyable. The pain was quite intense, almost religious in nature, and I got out of the chair feeling all woozy and happy. And so far I freakin' love this piercing
About 2 years ago I decided to get a PA. My friend Joe Y at Evolution in Providence did it for me and, as always, I had a great experience which I wrote about. The past couple of months I had been itching to get my septum pierced. So, as today was my day off, I decided to take a trip to see Joe. I had read a lot of experiences online and they seemed 50/50 at best. After asking Joe about 100 questions I decided to just do it and I am glad I did. Easy!
This piercing gets way over-hyped. So I go to my piercer, tell him I want to get my septum done. Of course, all my friends who A.) had gotten the piercing or B.) knew someone who had gotten one, said that it hurt like crazy. They couldn't have been more wrong. It took 2 seconds and the whole thing was over. Your eyes tear up, but it was honestly the least painful piercing I've had done so far.If you're thinking about it, go for it.
so im at school with my friends and my friend morgan is the one that does my peircings and shes good at it when shes straight and she was so i let her do it and to we go find a hidden spot at the school and she asks me if im ready and i say yes but right as she gets the needle to my nose i scream like a bitch and i thought she had peirced me but she hadnt and i look at my had and i had blood on it and i ended up cutting myself on something sharp and thats y a screamed but the i went on with the peircing and it made me tear sadly the worst feeling peircing i ever had done jeez all well
my septum piercing is one that i have always wanted. it took a lot of guts to pull that one off. it took the piercer 4 times to get it straight but in the end it was all worth it.
