SEPTUM HURT NO MORE THAN A CAT SCRACTH AND THE ONLY THING THAT HAPPEND WAS THAT MY EYES WATERD .

Let's see,I went to this piercing place to get a tattoo,but ended up with my septum pierced...twice.The first one wasn't that bad,but then I figured it was pretty common to see a septum piercing,and this was done,so I told the guy,"I want another one." so I payed for the other one,and when he did it,it hurt like ,but not it's worth it cause I'm still unordinary.

On may 4th I went to Lucky,s in Northampton MA,and got my septum pierced. After being told all those horror stories about how you pass out from the pain,this piercing was the easiest of all 6 of mine(including 3 genitals),just a receptor tube to the right side,and an 8g needle pushed through from the left!barely a PINCH!I now have a circular barbell,and this piercing is doing GREAT!

So they clamped my nose, and he was explaining to the girls how to hold the need and such. And then without warning, he pierced my spetum. And it hurt, Satan's beard did it hurt. And for some reason my eyes started tearing.

As with all my piercings, I did this myself. At the time I was out of professional needles, so I bought myself a leather sewing needle, between 14 and 12 gauge. I then used a clean guitar pick so I would't go further than I wanted to, and pushed it through. This piercing was not bad at all, not as painful as many others have described to me. It felt like bumping your nose, enough to make your eyes water up, but I also am aware that I have a higher pain tolerance than most people.

it's healed finally. this is the most beautiful piercing ever. it's the biggest pain to. for some odd reason the week i got this pierced everything seemed to want to hit me in my head. plus i have a very sensitive nose:(the piercing didn't hurt to bad it's just that your eyes water a whole lot! if your'e thinking about getting it done do it and if you look stupid take it out. the experience itself is worth S35.

hey hey... I really wanted a peircing that I could have just for me, and I thought that the septum was perfect; you can hide it if you want and it looks bad ass either way. Anyway I got it peirced in Washington D.C. The guy said that this pericing is the hardest one because it is done almost blindly. Any way he screwed it up and had to do it twice. It didn't hurt as bad as I thought but sliding the needle and jewelry into place hurt pretty bad, especially because they did it twice. but I love it.

i just got my septum done 3 days ago. the experience was fun. my nose kinda closed a little on one end when she tried to put the jewelry in so she had to reopen it with a taper. that part didn't hurt the part that hurts is the rotation. in the end i won't remember the pain just my piercing. pain is all in the mind(that's what i repeated the whole time!). i plan on my tragus' now. i hear they hurt but i think i've already went thru the most painful time in my life(j/k). if you're thinking about getting it done...do it mynose is really sensitive and i went thru it.

Ok, as long as you have a good piercer, this is nothing to worry about. You hear all of the horror stories about a septum being the most painful piercing, but its not. In the hands of a good piercer its no worse than a lobe piercing. My piercer marked my nose and had me lay down. He then put a recieving tube up to one side of my nose, lined up, and pierced right through my septum. I started laughing at how little it hurt. So dont be afraid, just have a good piercer.
