I went in to get my belly button pierced, an inverse piercing because I wanted my jewelry to hang below my belly button. The piercer advised me that piercing it that way tends to get caught on things a lot. Then he recommend I just place a dermal below and that it would hurt a lot less than the actual piercing. Plus I can buy jewelry that is magnetic and attaches to it. I never planned to have a dermal here but actually love it. Oh and it only stung like a paper cut.
My best friend and I got our dermals pierced together. I have the 4x with Pink.
This was about a month after I got it pierced. I went swimming too soon and it irritated it and I'm pretty sure it was infected.
I have had it for over 2 months now and have had no problem with it except my top one. I constantly hit counters and people bump into it. So it migrated. I went back to my piercer and she had to move it around. And I looks a lot better.
