I had my Monroe done yesterday. It wasn't a planned piercing but more of a spur of the moment. It didn't hurt at all when it was done. The problem I am having now is that my lip is all swollen and it almost covers my piercing entirely. I am cleaning it with dial hand soap three times a day and using sea salt soaks and compresses once a day as recommended by my piercer. I am a bit nervous about scarring since the piercing is almost completely covered by my skin. I still love it though.
So after wanting to get my nostril pierced for AAAAGES I finally did it
Everyone had assured me it wouldn't hurt, and after reading up on lots of experiences online I was fairly sure I wanted it done. I went to our local piercing place where I had already had 3 other piercings, so it was great to be pierced by a familiar person
I asked him if it was gonna hurt and he said, to be honest it will hurt quite a bit, your eyes will water. He cleaned my nose, marked with a dot where the piercing would be and I checked to see if it looked okay. Exciting
Then he pierced it!
So on October 1st I finally decided to get my septum pierced. I had been thinking about this piercing for a while but was a little hesitant because I don't think that everyone can pull this particular piece off. Just not sure if my face was suited for it. I decided to just go ahead and do it and if it didn't look right there should be no reason I couldn't take it out or just flip it up. So I went to my piercer who is about an hour away. He's been piercing a long time and this made number 8 that he's done on me.
I have never thought about getting my tongue pierced ever...at first I wanted a surface piercing on my wrist but they didn't do that, so I went home and thought about what I am gonna do, so then I thought about a tongue piercing and wasn't sure if I should get something like that pierced cuz I have heard a lot about a tongue piercing that wasn't so good...I was afraid they might hit the veins and my face would go numb, stuff like that...the next day I said heck with it and I decided to go get my tongue pierced...nervous as can be got it done
, now it has been 3 days and everything is still
I got myh eyebrow done about 7 months ago.. before I got it I was a little nervous myh stomach started hurting a little and everything... When I got to the place I started felling a little bit better because I talked to the guy who was about to pierce me and he said that doesnt hurt at all.. We go to the room and he tells me to sit in the chair so I do.. then he tells me to relax.. He goes to wash his hands and opens a new needle and then he asks me am I ready I wanted to say NO but I just took a deep breath and said Yea..
I went into the local tattoo shop today to get my tragus jewelry changed. I had a yearning for another hole and I have wanted my inner conch done for a while. I decided since I had the money I would go ahead and do it. I told my piercer, after he changed my tragus jewelry, that I wanted my inner conch pierced. He said he didn't have anyone waiting so he would go ahead and do it. He set up the supplies and marked my ear. I looked in the mirror to check out the placment and it was perfect. I laid back down in the chair and he lined up the needle with the marker.
I got my tragus done on my left ear about a year ago. The actual piercing didn't hurt at all, it felt like when you squish your face together (lol). While I was heading to the store, I kept on pinching it just to see how it would feel, because like always, I get a little nervous before a piercing. All and all a good experience, aftercare was a breeze, a little bit of swelling but nothing too too tolerable, just be careful not to hit it, after you do it once, you will always remember not to do it again.
So like most of my piercings, they are usually never planned. I may see it on someone and be like oh that would be cool to have on me! So about 5 hours ago, I was out with my best friend and I was like hmmmm... I think I want a piercing today. So we went to New Tribe Piercings and Tattoo shop in Toronto, showed my I.D paid my $45 and waited for Daryll to call me. I was use to him since he did my tragus before. He went over the aftercare instructions, cleaned my ear and marked it. Once me and Ida (best friend) ok'd the placement, I laid on my back, head to the right and took a deep breath.
A couple months ago I discovered a new kind of micro-dermal made by the company Biologix. These dermals are an industrial strength bio-plastic instead of metal. I'd always wanted to get some dermals, but I was very hesitant about having a piece of metal "permanently" under my skin since I tend to frequent the hospital.
A month ago I was heading down to NYC and had a friend try to find a good piercer who would order the dermals I wanted. He succeeded in finding a place, but the dermals didn't arrive on time. Well, I made another trip to NYC and this time they did have my dermals in.
Hmm, this was an interesting one that I actually thought about and I was game about getting it done. I went with two others and it was a cool experience... I laid down and I was in the zone... So he pushed and it was fine, but the pressure was kinda intense... I rate it a 6 or 7 out of ten, my nipples were probably an 8 or 9 and they aren't even sensitive, grrrr...
Lol, but anywhoo, it was really nice, but I had to take it out because it started to get a bump above it...
