So like most of my piercings, they are usually never planned. I may see it on someone and be like oh that would be cool to have on me! So about 5 hours ago, I was out with my best friend and I was like hmmmm... I think I want a piercing today. So we went to New Tribe Piercings and Tattoo shop in Toronto, showed my I.D paid my $45 and waited for Daryll to call me. I was use to him since he did my tragus before. He went over the aftercare instructions, cleaned my ear and marked it. Once me and Ida (best friend) ok'd the placement, I laid on my back, head to the right and took a deep breath.

A couple months ago I discovered a new kind of micro-dermal made by the company Biologix. These dermals are an industrial strength bio-plastic instead of metal. I'd always wanted to get some dermals, but I was very hesitant about having a piece of metal "permanently" under my skin since I tend to frequent the hospital.

A month ago I was heading down to NYC and had a friend try to find a good piercer who would order the dermals I wanted. He succeeded in finding a place, but the dermals didn't arrive on time. Well, I made another trip to NYC and this time they did have my dermals in.

Hmm, this was an interesting one that I actually thought about and I was game about getting it done. I went with two others and it was a cool experience... I laid down and I was in the zone... So he pushed and it was fine, but the pressure was kinda intense... I rate it a 6 or 7 out of ten, my nipples were probably an 8 or 9 and they aren't even sensitive, grrrr... Lol, but anywhoo, it was really nice, but I had to take it out because it started to get a bump above it...

I got my tongue pierced going on almost three years ago and I had it for two years. The piercing itself was nothing really, but of course the healing process was death. I think for me it was so bad because the fool that did it had a bar that was too short for my tongue and had to re-sterilize ANOTHER barbell, so I am thinking that when he redid it he actually put another hole in my tongue. Ugh, dummy. So my healing process was rough, but it only lasted like 5 days, the pain that is... But um, I loved it...

I waited a whole month since my first piercing (a VCH) to decide exactly what I wanted. I chose to do a vertical sternum surface piercing. I went back to (pro-gress piercing) in Raleigh and had another great experience! http://profile.myspace.com/progresspiercing

This time Lee did the piercing and he was just as knowledgeable, thorough, gentle, and gentlemanly as Seth (who did my first piercing at (pro-gress).

I was initially going to get my lip pierced, but after talking to some people (mostly guys), I was convinced to get my tongue pierced instead. I discussed this with some of my friends and a week after my 19th birthday, 5 of us went in to get our tongues pierced (4 girls and 1 guy). Only 1 of us had gotten tattooed/pierced by this guy before, but I had never heard any complaints about him and his studio was clean and well lit, so I wasn’t too worried.

i had gotten my eyebrow pierced 8/16/09.. i was/am 14 about to be 15 in a few days. I checked places local to me (long island NY) A very famous tattoo place Tattoo lous refused to do my piercing because it is not the common spot and said i would have to be 18 and they were rude off the bat.. then i went on vacation to my summer house.. To lake george new york.. A place i have passed many times called extoria was there. I told my dad.. lets go in. The place is the biggest parlor i have seen.. with counters and counters of jewelry and a huge building..

Ok i sooo should not have came here and read these stories before i got my rook pierced! I almost had a panic attack i was so scared it would hurt like a mother. I read that its unbearable pain, you bleed, it takes sooo long to stick the needle through, you hear crunching etc - this is so not true. The needle on hurts a bit when they put it through and the only really painfull part was when the put the barbell through but it only last like 2 seconds. I really reccomend getting this done and not reading any of these rediculous stories bc it doesnt hurt that much and is well worth it

I got my rook piercing a year ago. I was on vacation in Virginia Beach with one of my best friends. We decided to get our ears oierced togerther I got my rook but her, on the other hand, got her industrial. I was fine getting mine, it didn't hurt at all. She got hers done and I watch, which was a mistake... lol. After we were done the guy who did it said to clean it with salt water. We both just looked at each other and then at him, we weren't sure if he was being serious considering he had been joking around with us before.

Okay so I pierced my rook on Thursday (July 23) after noon and honestly, it DID hurt! After I had it done I didn't feel much pain that day nor the next day. On saturday afternoon while i was cleaning it with anti bacterial soap like they told me to clean it, it started to hurt. Following day I woke up with a throbbing pain that lasted allllll day. it still hurts today (July27)! I took some Motrin and the pain got better but the minute i got home & cleaned it again, the pain is back. My ear DOES seem to be a bit swollen compared to the day I got it.
