On September 25, I took the plunge and got my PA done. I previously had nipple piercings one of which I had to have redone. They hurt like hell compared to my PA. Its been 4 months and I honestly can't remember the pain. I'm 47 and and was intrigued by this piercing almost 15 years ago but with my nipple experience, I figured the pain would be too intense. After doing a little research and from reading a great deal of posts here, I felt comfortable that the pain would be minimal. I went to a local shop and the worse part was the receiving tube insertion. After it was done and to my surprise the shop informed me that was my female piercers first PA! She was awesome. Like alot of men here, I wish I did it years ago. I got it done at 10 gauge and have stretched to 6 gauge just last week. My goal was 4 gauge but the jelewry store shipped me a 2 gauage horseshoe by mistake and I love it. My wife absolutely loves my new piercing as well. If you're thinking about it do it! Feel free to reach out to me for any questions.
