Hi all, new guy round here. Been seriously considering getting a PA for some time now. Does anyone have any recommendations for a decent UK piercer? I've heard good things about Holier Than Thou in Manchester, but I'd be interested where you guys would recommend. Cheers
Months ago I did a go fund me for this piercing simply cause I didn't have the funds to splurge on this. But thanx to some tribers & some friends I was able to get my Ampallang. Weeks ago I went to Venus Body Arts here in NYC to get measured on one of the coldest days in NY and after hours of protesting our government in front of stonewall inn gay bar in the west village. I got my jewellery. Took a while for it to arrive. Today the 25th of March I finally got it. It hurt ain't gonna lie. But it was in an instant it went quickly. And before u knew it I has Frankenstein bolts on my penis lol.
A little tidbit to those conteplating getting a PA piercing. If I had to do it over, I would have started with either a 6 gauge or 4 gauge piercing. I knew I would gauge up and most will. The larger gauges just look better. I started at 10 gauge and moved to 8 gauge with no problem but I rushed to 6 gauge and it got irritated and blownout. I'm a sexual person and cant keep off the wife so that played a role. Anyhow I had to gauge down to heal. Wish I would have started at 6 gauge. The initial piercing pain is the same regardless of gauge.
I had my daith piercing 5 days ago on 3/10/17 at Cedar Springs Tattoo & Piercing in Dallas, Texas. My piercer was Sandra and she was great. I chose my CBR, she explained the after care instructions, took out all the necessary instruments from the autoclave, marked my ear and pierced. Ouch! It took her like 3 pushes to get through and it sounded crunchy. Then when she put on the jewelry it hurt too. But I wouldn't change it for the world. I love it!! I paid $50 so by what I've read on the forums the piercing can cost anywhere from $50-$80.
I had been thinking about getting a Prince Albert piercing on and off for about two years before I finally started to really look into it. I read all experiences on this site and looked up as much information as I could find. Convinced that this was really what I wanted, I planned to get pierced about a month later during my summer holiday period.
I got the piercing July 8th of 2015, one day before my 23rd birthday. I went tot he studio I had selected but unfortunately they were out of suitable jewellery.
First thanks to all the experience posters and the guys who help with their knowledge on this site. You gave me the courage to to it.
I am an mid 50s guy never pierced never tattooed ( though I want that now too). Never really considered a PA or knew too much about it until a few months ago, but as many know it became an obsession haha.
Got it at a highly regarded shop Portland (Ritual Arts), LGBT owned and operated. They were great even made a square old guy like me comfortable.
After looking up discussions online and considering it, I finally got a Prince Albert piercing three weeks ago. The process was very simple, had a discussion about the piercing, and because I am uncut, which side I would prefer the piercing been place. I got pierced at 12g, as they had unfortunately run out of the 10g jewellery. Then I simply had to strip, and jump on the padded chair. I got given a lollipop to distract me, and it actually worked.
It was somewhat uncomfortable when the piercing tube entered, but once alignment was done I was ready to go.
Wow what an experience. I went to Peneag Piercing in Ann Arbor yesterday and got my first piercing. JC Potts was there and did the install of a very nice piercing. I had read many stories about getting the PA and was ready. i have down loaded some pics. The piercing was done with a 12 then he stretched to a 10 and slipped in a 10G CBR. Very little blood and or pain. I was so surprised. This morning i did a few salt soaks and i am at work with very little discomfort.
Arf! The pup is back in action! After a long moving process to San Francisco, it's time I gave an update on my life as a pierced man.
So far, I've enjoyed 90% of my PA experience. It's amazing for me to have metal in my package and I smile every time I am conscious of it. As a gay male in the kink community, my piercing has been well received by others and lots of men are very curious to experience what it's like to 'play' with another guy that has a genital piercing.
In addition to the fun, I've ran into some issues as well.
Earlier placed under male genital piercings.
Now in appropriate category.
I did it.
I have been thinking about having a genitale piercing Just a few months.
I woke up one morning thinking i want a piercing.
Start reading on this forum and some other forums, and asked myself...Do i realy want this.
Yesterdaymorning, i woke up, thinking this is the day.
I already knew whatever shop i zanger to go go, and also that a Young lady Samantha was going go Place the piercing.
She took her time preparing, masking and explaning.
Also asked me if i wanted to know when she was ready to go.
