After getting my first piercings earlier this year (2 frenums), I'm hooked. I already went back for 3 more frenums and stretched the top one to 6ga. Even more hooked. I had decided shortly after the first two that I wanted my nipples pierced. I enjoy my wife's pierced nipples more than she does and mine have always been very sensitive. So I went in to see Nikki K at Chrome Gardens in Gettysburg. She has done all my piercings so far (and my wife's VCH.
Nikki is very friendly, helpful, professional and gets excited after each piercing she does.
So I've been wanting these little things for months now! And I finally got the money for them (knowing a piercer/tattoo artist personally helped too) So I made an appointment for the next day and he came by.
I was really excited until I see the clamps, the needle doesn't bother me it's those stupid clamps! They're so..big lol. But anywho we spent like 20 minutes re-marking my face for these piercings until I was finally satisfied, surprised he didn't say
it and leave lol.
I got my tongue pierced on April 10th 2K9. It did not hurt at all. I went to mytattooshop in florida and the piercer wuz the best. He prep me with a mouthwash of listerine for 30 seconds. I spit it out n he put the piercing tonggs on and aplly pressure w/ the tongs using rubber bands which numbed my tongue then......he pierced it. It felt like a 5 second pinch, like receiving a shot but a lil less pain. It was an aswum experience and I knt wait 2 gt my spiderbites done and possibly a VCH
I have decided to get my PA after wanting it for some time. I called Dana at Pins and Needles and set up a time. I could not wait until the day so I went in 3 days earlier than I was scheduled. I went in paid my money $65.00 and signed the consent form. Dana had put the blind down and put black screens around the piercing room. He went over the procedure and asked if I was ready. I said 'Lets do it!" I would be getting a 10 gauge ring which I guess is the normal size. He said the receiving tube would be uncomfortable but I found it not to be that bad.
Most of the experience reports are a few days old so I figured I would wait and take you through the entire thing.
In March I got my frenum pierced. I came into the shop durring my lunch break and a very large man did the job. I sat in a small room that was very warm and had what looked kind of like a dental chair. I dropped my pants and at this poing my penis turned into a second belly button.
He marked the spots on there and I laid back and waited for the horror. It was so not bad. He used a 14 gauge BB that he had bent a small burve into.
I got my vch a week ago and I love it. I thought about it for a while before i called the place I went to about how much it was. So I went there and I signed all the paperwork while my piercer got the room ready. She told me she was done and we went into the back room. She had asked me to take off everything from the belly down. She examined me, cleaned and marked the area. She aligned the recieving tube. Let me tell you, the most uncomfortable/intense part is the recieving tube. She lined the needle, told me to take a deep breath and when I exhaled it was all over.
So i got my VCH a little less than a week ago and i absolutely love it. I was terrified when i went, but it really wasn't bad at all. it literally hurt for three seconds and then nothing! I wouldn't even consider it pain really... more of just a very intense feeling. I already have my tongue nose and ears pierced, and this was no worse then those! Although it was sensitive for the first day, I immediately fell in love with it. It makes most everything more enjoyable
to anyone out there that is thinking about doing it.... DO IT! trust me!
We went in Nov, by bus, and paid $50 for both of our piercings (it was a deal that my friend was able to smooth talk us into). I was going to go first. The piercer marked the piercing on either side with a marker, and told me to check it out. When I gave him the ok, he clamped it (quite painful, but nothing I couldn't handle). He then took the needle and pressed it through the skin... it was the most intense pain I had ever experienced. I clenched my fists on the edge of the chair, closed my eyes, and tensed every muscle in my body. A few seconds later, it was nothing but a numbing ache.
Alright guys, I've been thinking about getting a vertical hood peircing for awhile heard mostly that it hurts like crazy for a second or two but then the pain's all over- Well I'll let you know as soon as I get home

well i had my pa done about 6 yrs ago but ended up having to take it out cause i was in the military.
i have been debating getting it done again for some time now and i remember how painful it was the first time so that was one of my major drawbacks of getting it done again.
so i was out running errands on Tuesday jun 2. and i stopped by my local shop. well the piercer just quit and they had no one to do it. so i ended up driving by another shop that i thought was closed.
