Like a few other people with PA's, 'normal' piercings like ears, nose, mouth etc. have never really appealed to me but having something out of the ordinary, yet private, like a PA really got me interested. Of course I'd thought about having a PA on and off for probably a year or two but I started to consider it more seriously at the end of September and doing more research to see what it felt like, how painful it was and so on. Tribalectic and it's excellent Experiences and Pictures sections really helped with this!

I had my Monroe done yesterday. It wasn't a planned piercing but more of a spur of the moment. It didn't hurt at all when it was done. The problem I am having now is that my lip is all swollen and it almost covers my piercing entirely. I am cleaning it with dial hand soap three times a day and using sea salt soaks and compresses once a day as recommended by my piercer. I am a bit nervous about scarring since the piercing is almost completely covered by my skin. I still love it though.

Have wanted PA for a long time, so last November I had 12g done here in Brisbane Australia. Last week went from 6g to 4g 3/4 inch circular barbell. Not sure if I'm going to 2g yet. I'm 63. Wish I'd done it years ago!!!!

For years I had wanted a price albert but was too nervous to tell my wife. Finally, after dropping hints and bombshells all over the place, she said, "You might as well just go ahead and get it because you know you won't be happy until you do so!" I walked back and forth outside the shop and finally got the courage to go in. I'm very conservative looking, so the clerk behind the counter not only eyed me as I approached, but when I confidently came and said that I'd like a prince albert, I thought she was going to fall off the stool.

I have had body piercings since I got a PA more than 20 years ago at Gauntlet in California by Jim Ward. Have added over the years and now more than 30. Saw a photo of Hafada rows on the sides of a center row, like I have, and wanted them since that photo gave me the idea. I first got a pair in Atlanta at Piercing Experience, where I always go. Brian did them and they are perfectly matched as to placement. I soon wanted a second set under those but Brian was not to be in. I was most aprehensive with a female piercer, but she was GREAT.

The idea of a genital piercing was one that I had thought of when I turned 45. It took me a year but I finally got the nerve to go ahead with it while vacationing in Saratoga Springs NY this summer. I went online to see what Tattoo parlors they had in the Saratoga area and found four withing walking distance of each other. I did some research and decided to pay each parlor a visit. The first place I walked in a walked right out. It was dark and gloomy and quite frankly, scared the s!#&@ of of me.

So I decided today was the day to go for it, got everything ready and it took about a half hour to work it through nice and easy. I put the new bar in the back of the taper and it went easy a pie. The problem came when the jewelery got stuck in the stupid thing. So I spent 5 minutes working on that and that is when I felt some pain. After I got it all done and settled I put a pic up in my gallery. I decided to go ahead and do the next one down to 8 so I have completed what I have planned for right now.

Just got home from having it done and riding on cloud 9. I must say it was tough to go in and have another woman that up close and personal to my business. Anyway, went in and talk with her about the selection and felt comfortable with the answers. I could actually feel him getting smaller, never felt him "hiding" quite like that. Anyway, let her know my concern about being out there in front of her and she did a great job of making me as comfortable as possible. She got all of the supplies ready and showed me the jewelry. "Well drop em down" and my heart sank.

So after wanting to get my nostril pierced for AAAAGES I finally did it

Everyone had assured me it wouldn't hurt, and after reading up on lots of experiences online I was fairly sure I wanted it done. I went to our local piercing place where I had already had 3 other piercings, so it was great to be pierced by a familiar person

I asked him if it was gonna hurt and he said, to be honest it will hurt quite a bit, your eyes will water. He cleaned my nose, marked with a dot where the piercing would be and I checked to see if it looked okay. Exciting Then he pierced it!

I never thought I would get any type of piercing, let alone a genital piercing. I couldn't imagine why any guy would "let" someone stick a needle through their penis. My wife, on the other hand, had wanted to get a genital piercing for some time, but I couldn't imagine someone else touching her genitals either.

Then one night while out with some friends, the genital piercings came up in the conversation. A friend was talking about an old roomate with a piercing. My wife was enthralled in the conversation.
