How is Tribalectic's Body Jewelry Sterilized?

Body Jewelry Sterility is the most important aspect of keeping your piercing healthy. That’s why Tribalectic has taken all the necessary steps to provide you with hospital-grade sterilized body jewelry. If for any reason we have problems with our sterilization devices, they will be replaced immediately as not to jeopardize your safety and health. Facilities: Tribalectic houses our very own sterilization facility. This facility contains empty walls, a linoleum floor, a hospital-grade autoclave, cold sterilization trays, and our body jewelry storage units. We use Crosstex Sanitex Plus to sterilize the facility on a daily basis. All human contact with anything in our sterilization room requires the use of medical-grade latex gloves.

Pouches: Tribalectic encloses all sterilized body jewelry in a self-sealing medical-grade pouch, Crosstex Self-Sealing Sterilization Pouches. This sterilization pouch has been approved and endorsed by the American Dental Association. The ADA logo can be found on every single pouch.

Body Jewelry Storage Unit: Tribalectic has our own body jewelry storage units. These units are composed of stainless steel frames and plastic containers. The entire unit is sterilized with PDI Sani-Cloth Germicidal Disposable Cloths.

Devices

Hot Sterilization: Tribalectic uses a hospital-grade autoclave, Wilmot Castle Speed Clave 777, to sterilize every piece of body jewelry that can handle hot sterilization. The process involves inserting the sterilization-pouched body jewelry into the autoclave which is sealed and heated to 275 degrees for 20 minutes. After drying, the sterilization-pouched body jewelry is placed in our body jewelry storage units or immediately shipped out to you.

Cold Sterilization: Tribalectic uses hospital-grade sterilization fluids, Crosstex Sanitex Plus, to cold sterilize all body jewelry that cannot handle hot sterilization. The body jewelry is soaked in a stainless steel tray for 20 minutes, rinsed with distilled water, and then placed to dry on another sterilized tray. Once dry, the body jewelry is sealed in a sterilization pouch and placed in our body jewelry storage unit.

Ultrasonic: Tribalectic uses a hospital-grade ultrasonic, L&R Quantrex 140H, to pre-treat certain body jewelry. The ultrasonic helps shake-off excess polish that may irritate a fresh piercing. This process precedes hot or cold sterilization.
