Well let's see, what to pierce next?
I have always wanted to get my Labret pierced. Through numerous piercings, tattoos and years I never did it. Don't know why. Lately I have been mulling it over in my head and I said what the hell. My wife is apprenticing with our tattoo artist / piercer and I figured let her get some experience. She prepped me up and assisted but Jeff did the piercing. So here we go, clamps in place and bang!
I did my own Prince Albert about 7 months ago (I do all of my own piercings). I pierced it with a 14 guage needle and put a 14 guage circular barbell through and left it alone for the proceeding two months. After it was reasonably healed I guaged the piercing and slid a 10 guage captive bead ring through and left it alone for about 4 months. Just recently I took a big jump and guaged it once again and I put a 5/8" 4 guage circular barbell through and that's what is in it now.
I did my own amphallang (I do all of my own piercings) about a year and a half ago. I pierced it with a 14 guage needle and put and 1 1/4" barbell through. The whole process took me just shy of 3 hours, due to the fact that it was my first piercing in the pants, and well, try shoving a needle all the way through the head of your penis and see how long it takes you. Anywho, I'm really into it, it's lots of fun, and if anyone is thinking about getting it done, I say go for it. It hurts pretty bad, but in the end it is totally worth it, so suck it up and do it.
For people out there who pierce yourselfs like myself,i suggest you take extra precautions when piercing and guaging.my personal experience was first going from an 8 gua to a 2 guage, well i was very satisfied with the way it looked so i decidedto arrange it so i could put another plug next to it,well 3 days have passed by then and i had gotten my ear to an 8 like the last, and had decided to guage that hole to a 00... well the closest thing i could find to an 00 was a bottom to a perminant marker so i stabbed it in...
It really didn't hurt, i kind unusual having a barbell in yu mouth. It will just take some getting used to.
It was the coolest experience! I think everyone should try it at least once. I've had my ears pierced many times and my eyebrow was nothing compared to them. There was no pain when the piercer inserted the needle. All I felt was it moving through my skin, no pain just the movement. It felt so cool. It bled very little and i've not had any prob's with it at all.
You will hear a lot of
about piercing the webbing of your hand, but if done correctly it can be a (fairly) painless and quick-healing experience. I did mine myself (with the help of a friend who doesn't get sick easily heh). Here's a basic rundown on what I did...Soaked a safety pin in rubbing alcohol while I washed my hands and cleaned the are with alcohol. I then held my hand up to a bright light and pulled out the webbing as much as I could. I then marked with a pen the entrance and exit points as deep in as I could where the light passed through.
Hey hows it goin all. Just me just wanted to update my experiance. I have got my second nipple done and it is going great check out my other experiance if you haven't yet. peace Ryan
My parents are totally against any piercings. I have pierced my own ears the last five times myself. I do not believe in piercing guns. When I got my eyebrow done I was on vacation in Arizona. I talked my parents into it cause when we are on vacation they do weird things. My grandpa drove me an hour across Phoenix to the piercing parlor. When I got there they went over the after care and I signed the proper forms. I was almost a hundred percent sure that it would hurt. The piercer used his hands to do the piercing instead of the clamps, he was pretty talented.
