About me: I just love life. In addition to being pierced, I am totally tattooed. I am married and have 5 kids and have recently retired. I am a college professor and a counselor. I live in a beautiful rural community in California where more people are pierced and tattooed than not. I view my body art as a work in progress. I have been getting tattooed for 13 years and pierced for 3 years. I am Buddhist and practice Tibetan Buddhism. I am also somewhat of an artist. I listen to dreams and draw "dreamscapes". I was lucky enough to have my "dreamscapes" displayed at the Jung Institute in New York. I was born in Brooklyn, NY. I am thinking of getting an RV and touring the US, sounds like a cool and romantic thing to do. DD
So you all can tell by my last blog that profiling really irks me. They have a new name for it "Rubricizing" like the Rubics Cube. Profiling, Rubricizing, Stereotyping don't care what you call it, it comes down to one thing judging people by their looks, and at the nasty end of the human behavior spectrum, Racism. I've been studying human behaviour as a counselor/psychologist for almost 20 years and I like to push the envelop, extend the marigns of people's comfort zones. They see me coming and they think they know me because of my appearance, wrong. But this actually works for me.
